I was very pleased the refinance process from application to closing. Annie McCowen was prompt with any documents needed and quick to follow up to be sure I understood what was requested and also to let me know my response was received. PennyMac’s electronic processing was easy and convenient.

Was a great experience all around I got the best rate around, by far! The automated system seems to ask for duplicate documents on occasion but being able to speak to my processor made it a non-issue and she made everything goes as smooth as possible. It was a great transaction and I am very happy with the service.

The requests to complete documents and the website itself were confusing. After we started our application to refinance, we kept getting phone calls to apply to refinance. Why, we had already applied! That was confusing and a waste of time. Also, we received a payoff demand letter that was alarming and confusing when we had just signed closing papers the day before.

when requesting a refiianance over the phone that the figures are correct the first time. The documents are totally not the same and the closing cost amount are not even mention on the phone. documents are sent right away to sign without someone calling to go over with you. We had called serval times and never received a call had to text thru website.
