You need to get your paperwork straight, as I have been sent e-mail asking for documents that had already been received or were not needed, which is confusing to say the least. Also, after closing we find that we needed to e-sign another document that was missed or not presented at closing. I am happy to save money be refinancing, but I did not like trying to deal with several different people sending me conflicting e-mails.
My refinance loan was handled very professionally and competently. I am an attorney and former owner of a title insurance company. My thanks to PennyMack for a trouble free transaction.

I tried to refinance through another company before trying PennyMac. That "other company" ran me through the ringer and made the process very difficult and I am a first time home owner. I was very discouraged. PennyMac contacted me and told me that the "other company" was not doing the refi correctly. I started the refi process with PennyMac and was astounded how quickly it was completed and how easily the process should have been. Thank you PennyMac!!!

Easy process, however too many other emails and calls that only served to confuse. Overall, good experience.
Process took over 4 months from start to finish even though I provided docs within hours of being requested. Your portal did not show files I had sent over so tracking is poor. Processing agent changed mid stream. I always had to call in to move things along vs being called.
