Timeliness of response to phone calls needs to be dramatically improved.
My'esha did her job correctly and was always very pleasant to work with! However, on Penny Mac's end, there was no answer as to why our closing took so long. As we approached closing it was always a mystery when it would be with unexplained hold ups. Then at the last minute we received 2 different closing estimates with different closing amounts. It was confusing at first but eventually we closed and the numbers worked out fine.
The first loan was much simpler and less hassle. I was getting emails that were not relevant. I had a closer officer that didn’t show up and no one informed me. Drew was not available when I needed him, his supervisor did call me back and he was rude. Everyone is typically very nice so it was unexpected. Overall my experience was stressful and at times I thought maybe it was a scam. The first experience I had no stress and I knew exactly what was happening.
I didn't feel like just a customer.. but a friend. I was known as a person. It was one of the best experiences I have had closing on a loan. Thanks Nicholas!!!
Very prompt and efficient
As a PennyMac mortgage refinance with PennyMac, they made it fairly easy, reducing the amount of documentation, information, and fees that would have bee required with another mortgage lender. The process moved quickly and stayed on schedule. Maybe I could have found a lender offering a slightly lower rate, but it would have required more fees, house appraisal, and would have been more hassle.
Overall the communication was very professional resulting in a pleasant experience. The results we experienced were very beneficial to our monthly payment, were grateful for every process as it happened naturally, Spencer and Joleen Kenney.
The overall experience was great in lace of. Nicholas Batten was kind, courteous and very accommodating. Would highly recommend penny mac to any one trying to buy a house or refinance.
Receiving items that I was told I would receive and not having the closing delayed multiple times
