The team was always quick to answer my questions and resolve issues that happened to ensure refinance happened as fast as possible. The Covid pandemic made things go slow but PennyMac did their best to get things taken care of as efficiently as possible.

Nathan Hoffman was tremendous. But, our closing was delayed almost 2 weeks because Adam Key, my loan initiator, would not respond to me to clarify some charges and to discuss potential rate changes happening in the overall mortgage loan environment during the process. I definitely saw where other lenders were 1/8 to 1/4?of a % less during the process. Adam, however, did not stay in touch on rates because he was on a ‘special project’ at the request of his boss. Who is your priority?

The communication was difficult. Responses to email was sporadic and calling was unclear to maneuver through menus to get to a person. My loan started in July and didn't close until the end of October. I was never really given a good reason why it was taking so long. Should have had more regular communications.
