I was informed that when my case was assigned to Beth, she would contact me. When I received her initial email, I had questions on what was requested and emailed her back and tried to call. I was not connected to her and the person I spoke with told me that they left a message for her to call me. this happened twice and no call back. She did start calling my husband's line but he wasn't available. I needed to be the one contacted. Frustrating.

PennyMac made the refi process one of the easiest things I’ve ever done in my life. After trying a different lender (which made the process take over 5 months and still not complete), we decided to stay with PennyMac. One phone call and less than an hour later, the refi process was almost complete! The loan funded quickly and the people I interacted with were genuinely helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to.

I am a disable veteran and just called Penny Mac to inquire about my benefits. Not only did the agent answer my questions, he ensured that I was taken care of. Within a week everything was taken care of with minimal participation from me.

Improve your closing procedure. My closing was rescheduled, but the notary was not informed, and rescheduling was not recorded. A backup to my usual contact said my file still had the original closing date. If nothing’s recorded, nobody can get answers when usual contact is out. You need to improve explanation of what’s supposed to happen at closing. All I got from you was “a notary will show up, then you sign some papers.” Even when I asked for more info, the answer was insufficient.
