Zachary did an amazing job.
We began our refinance process with Penny Mac on 6/4/2020, we closed on 7/22/2020. The experience from beginning consultation online, to the Notary coming to our home for closing documents was excellent. Rick and Myesha from Penny Mac, Jana our Notary were all wonderful. To clarify we were Penny Mac customers with our original loan, but a refinance in less than 6 weeks and during this "pandemic" was awesome. Pleased to remain a Penny Mac customer! Great service. Our loan was closed in 30 days without any issues.
In the end Nick batten & Nicholas bonoficio made it right. The initial closing documents did not reflect the final loan estimate, the contract did not include the discount. This resulted in immediate frustration & I nearly walked away. Nick batten was in constant communication with me from that point as they corrected the error & 4 days later I was able to close. I appreciate the attention after the error was raised & ultimately it worked out. It would have been better to close on time.
We had such a great experience. Carlton made everything easy and fast. I have already referred 3 loans to penny Mac from friends and family, and are all in the process of closing. Very happy and satisfied.

Good Communication and Info
All of the Penny Mac representatives I dealt with were fantastic. As the loan process progressed, Nicholas Hagen was especially noteworthy. I dealt with him the most. He kept me well-informed on the process of things and EVERY time I called him and left a message, he called me back promptly. That doesn’t happen all of the time. It is the small things I appreciate - and I really appreciate Nick Hagen and the way he does business. 5 stars for him!
