It was quick and easy.
I feel that the current COVID-19 crisis impacted the overall timeline for our refinance, and possibly the service. Ultimately it wasn’t a horrible process by any means, it just seems like it took a really really long time.
Because we closed with PennyMac on the original home purchase it was easy for them to facilitate a no-hassle refinance. My documents were all on file already so when it came time to it I just had to sign a few documents and they took care of the rest.

Very quick, and informed me on the process.
Improve your closing procedure. My closing was rescheduled, but the notary was not informed, and rescheduling was not recorded. A backup to my usual contact said my file still had the original closing date. If nothing’s recorded, nobody can get answers when usual contact is out. You need to improve explanation of what’s supposed to happen at closing. All I got from you was “a notary will show up, then you sign some papers.” Even when I asked for more info, the answer was insufficient.
