My loan was processed fast and without any difficulties. The team working on my loan was very polite and professional.
We had a positive and seamless experience from beginning to end. Anthony was very open to help in the beginning and Nathan kept us informed through email until the end.
Not sure if the issue was due to COVID or not, previous experiences with PennyMac have been good. The loan process was started in late March and I was not able to close until early June. Considering this was a refinance within the same lender, this was really unacceptable. While I feel that Drew was genuinely interested in helping me, the communication was slow; again I do not fault him as this may have been directly related to the COVID shutdowns and remote working.
Our refinance went smoothly and closed ahead of schedule.
Everything was clearly stated and processed. My only comments are; 1) the communication for the notary could have been better as we needed notaries in two different places but only got communication on one. I'm still waiting on my notice of payment and start date.
