Although Beth answered all my questions fast and was readily available, miscommunication was noticeably at closing. This because our closing was higher than what we were told/showed. Second, my wife name was not nowhere to be found in the paperwork and I expressed since the beginning that she needed to be added to the property deed. Third, we were charged $25 extra for the appraisal! This makes you wonder what else we actually paid extra...
It was a very slow process and little explanation for the periods of delay. I didn't feel there was any customer consideration and loyalty provided since Penny Mac had a lot of history on my loan, credit report, value of the property and equity position and many of the steps involved was like they were dealing with an unknown. Maybe it was my perception but I don't think I saw any consideration for someone that has been a loyal customer of Penny Mac. I actually had a better offer from my bank.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, PennyMac performed a great service for me. Some items took a little more time than normal as people were working from their homes and was not their fault. All in All, the refinance of our home was very smooth. When working with money, time always seems slower than it actually is. Thank You PennyMac !

what would have made it better is if your loan officer would return your phone calls and emails another thing that would have made it better is if people would listen when we would tell them our house was not an HOA instead of arguing with us that it was another thing would have been be able to reach someone in the closing office rather than it go between person and being told one thing from a closing agent to a different thing from a closing agent The whole process sucked
