Terrible Dealership I purchased a used vehicle from Peoria Ford about a year ago to date and recently tried to consider what my options were if I traded in, when I tried to trade in my car at another dealership they were having trouble pulling up my vehicle with the VIN number, when they got it up it was not the right VIN number and was coming up as a different vehicle, so they started looking at the car for the VIN, on the side of the door it had been scraped off so they popped the hood to look at the VIN number under the h... read more
MY MOM GOT RIPPED OFF BIGTIME ! MY MOM BOUGHT A 2014 CAR THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN FORD CERTIFIED . AFTER 6 MONTHS THEY FINALLY FIXED THE BROKEN MOTOR MOUNT BROKEN TRANSMISSION MOUNT AND TUNED THE CAR UP . CAR SAT IN THERE LOT FOR 3 MONTHS ! Prepare for all day! We went to look for a used truck. We met with the salesman, Tyler, and told him our budget. He showed us vehicles within our budget. When we chose one, we went in to start the paperwork process. When he worked up the price, including tax and license, it was 3 times our budget. Airbag recall Called on 1/30/19 regarding airbag recall by Ford ,. After service tech trying to figure out if they were a qualified dealership to make repairs and or get the parts needed I was told it could be 5 days up to 2 weeks to receive parts needed. It is now 1/26/19 , tried to contact for status of service on 2/25/19 and was told I would be called back , Still waiting.. My concern is more with the fact that the recall is due to the fact that this defective airbag is causing Death or Major injury's.
High Pressure Sales Team They use high pressure tag-team tactics to coerce you into buying at a higher price than you should. They add on extended warranties and paint coatings without asking. Overall, left me with a bad feeling about the whole experience. Buy your Ford elsewhere.
Smoke and mirrors I purchased 2 new cars from this dealer in the past, and both of those experiences were exceptional. This time, not so much. A person purporting to be the general manager offered me $30 k for my trade and asked me if he could get me around the same payment that I was making now, if I would do the deal. Horrible experience Horrible experience. Went there for a used truck and they got me into a used mustang instead I knew my credit was bad and made them very aware of that and the sales guy said he was confident he could get me into it. After talking back and forth we got to a number that I was comfortable with. Purchase price misrepresentation Peoria Ford quoted us a price over the phone for a specific new 2018 F150 we had been discussing all morning. We drove 3 hrs with the intent to purchase. When we arrived, we were shown the vehicle and went through everything, but they came back with a price much higher than quoted. The finance manager said the price they gave was a base price without the extras. We believe they were purposely deceptive to get us in the door. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Buyer beware.
Peoria Ford employees do not stand by their word" On several instances I was told one thing and the dealer does the exact opposite. Last experience, purchased vehicle in March 2018.
