Service here is straight up 5 stars. The compassion, the humanity, the patience, the willingness the effort.... it's all sublime. But price gouging to take advantage of people who are dealing with incredible amounts of pain, making it so you have to consider taking a loan out against your house to save your pet, charging literally thousands of dollars for basic help in emergency situations is so beyond immoral. Hire Vets. that are qualified to preform the simplest tasks . The one working tonight isn't qualified to write a health certificate. Exactly what medical education or I Q is required to write a simple medical health certificate ? Obviously one that requires more than a third grade education. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PAYING FOR ANY SERVICES AT THIS SO CALLED EMERGENCY PET HOSPITAL!!!! WHY ARE THEY EVEN OPEN 24/7 ?!?!?

All I know is that when I brought my dog in after getting attacked no one even came out to look at or triage her. No one except the front desk staff even bothered to acknowledge us after we checked in. My dog had two bleeding puncture wounds in her face and we just got told she kept getting pushed back on the wait list after waiting for 6 hours. I understand the more urgent cases get priority but the fact that not even a bandage for the bleeding was offered is ridiculous. Save your time and money. This is the worst emergency... read more

The billing is incredibly sketchy. Prices and quotes changing in minutes, by hundreds of dollar. Several different quotes in different formats, all with different sums we already paid. They even charged $90 to put in a catheter, that she received and was paid for at a previous vet.

I called PET when we left our remote property and told them our situation (pyometra) and that we were coming in, we got there in about 3 hours (2:15 am). It was 3:30 am before a tech came out to take my dog's temperature. While we were waiting, I was wiping up their floor because she was just lying in the waiting room. I took my dog here for care after a diagnosis of IMT- his immune system had attacked his platelets and he was at severe risk of death. After 1 day they tried to convince me to take him home. Other vets I had spoke to advised against this as to high risk of spontaneous bleeding out. After day 2, they told me that there was nothing they could do that I couldn't do at home and he was essentially "taking up space in a kennel." His platelets were still at ZERO! Worst pet emergency in anchorage. Your dog could be dying with parvo or some other terrible infection but if the only symptoms are bloody diarrhea, lethargy, not eating - this is not an emergency to them. You will wait hours or possibly all day and if you ask how long the wait will be, they will lecture you on their process of being a pet emergency walk in... all their availability is based on how the emergency ranks on a tier. Waited for 18 hours in a car in the parking lot so my dog can get help, they never called us in. Week later dog Is still crying in pain, sleepless nights.
