I've been going to Pet's Friend with my mini-labradoodle for about 2 years now. I have seen several different vets here and they have all been very nice and courteous. They have always done what they said they would and I have had no problems. They do have a separate waiting area for cats and dogs, plenty of parking, and the staff is nice. I would recommend them to anyone w/ a dog (no clue how they handle cats).

Pet's Friend Animal Clinic is the best! We have been taking our cats there for years and recently our Swiss Mountain Dog, Porter, for a year and a half. He unfortunately got very sick twice in his first year with hard to diagnose problems. Dr. Chelsea Davidson and the entire staff have been so caring and knowledgable with treating Porter. Often, Dr. Davidson has followed up after hours and gone the extra mile to diagnose Porter. Porter loves to visit Pet's Friend because they are so good with him. We highly recommend... read more

I've been taking my Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy there since he was about two and a half months old. He's seen Dr Muth about 4 times because of various minor problems (skin rash due to mites, ear infection, etc) over the past 5 months and she's been wonderful every time. She's very familiar with the breed, as they have several ridgebacks that come in, and quite willing to work with me being an overly protective dog owner. I originally started bringing my dog here because a friend had a family member who previously worked at this clinic. I've had my dog since he was 8 weeks old, and all of his care had been handled here for years. My first major concern happened during his neuter procedure. The staff emphasized that we needed to arrive exactly at 8 AM, so I gave my dog a bath beforehand since I knew he wouldn't be able to bathe after surgery. The veterinarians are wonderful; they're incredibly gentle with my cats every time we visit, and they create a calm environment for them. However, the caucasian lady at the front desk is extremely rude. I'm genuinely surprised she's still employed there; her behavior significantly detracts from the overall experience. She definitely shouldn't be working with customer service and based on MANY other reviews, it looks like everyone has experienced the same. I'm very disappointed with my experience at this clinic. I brought my dog in for a blood draw, and what I saw afterward shocked me. The area on her neck was extremely red, there was bleeding, and a large scab formed. This did not look like a normal needle mark, it looked like trauma to the skin. Animals cannot speak. They cannot tell us what they experienced, so we rely on clinics to treat them with care and proper technique. Seeing this on my dog raises serious concerns about the quality of care here. I have been coming here for quite a while and have had no problems getting medicine for my dogs of course I always have to pay but this time I went in I had just gotten the medicine. I am very disappointed with the lack of transparency and medical gaslighting. My dog developed a persistent bump on the hind leg following a routine visit for vaccines and a blood draw. After further investigation, it became clear that the staff made multiple failed attempts at the draw, eventually blowing the vein. Please believe the low scores. I too have taken my pet to the clinic over the years. It was previously top notch but some of the staff are now extremely rude, namely Angela. When I complained about her behavior, the vet really didn't care how rude Angela had been. The incident happened a little bit ago and I informed Angela and the vet I would not be returning.
