They did my dog's neuter and my dog's first teeth cleaning/extraction since he was a few months old we had been coming here- now my dog is now 7 and needs another cleaning and they said "because of his underbite we cannot service his anatomical challenges" and referred me to a specialist in Aptos who charges literally double and is completely out of the way - they cleaned my dog's teeth once but now they're saying they can't do it a second time? How does that even make sense. Customer Service is two out of 10, they don't pri... read more

The veterinarians are wonderful; they're incredibly gentle with my cats every time we visit, and they create a calm environment for them. However, the caucasian lady at the front desk is extremely rude. I'm genuinely surprised she's still employed there; her behavior significantly detracts from the overall experience. She definitely shouldn't be working with customer service and based on MANY other reviews, it looks like everyone has experienced the same. I wonder if the owner just doesn't mind losing business because of he... read more

I'm very disappointed with my experience at this clinic. I brought my dog in for a blood draw, and what I saw afterward shocked me. The area on her neck was extremely red, there was bleeding, and a large scab formed. This did not look like a normal needle mark, it looked like trauma to the skin. Animals cannot speak. They cannot tell us what they experienced, so we rely on clinics to treat them with care and proper technique. Seeing this on my dog raises serious concerns about the quality of care here. When I went back to... read more

I have been coming here for quite a while and have had no problems getting medicine for my dogs of course I always have to pay but this time I went in I had just gotten the medicine. About a week later my son had to go to the hospital and could not administer my dog's medicine for a day so I took my dog back to the pet well clinic where I have been going they told me they would help me give him the medication but only if I paid again all I needed was a little bit of help with the pill I will think twice about coming here aga... read more

I am very disappointed with the lack of transparency and medical gaslighting. My dog developed a persistent bump on the hind leg following a routine visit for vaccines and a blood draw. After further investigation, it became clear that the staff made multiple failed attempts at the draw, eventually blowing the vein. Now, the clinic claims "a blood draw cannot cause a persistent bump." "Blood draw cannot cause persistent bump" is medically incorrect. While a simple bruise fades, a traumatic draw with significant subcutaneous... read more

Please believe the low scores. I too have taken my pet to the clinic over the years. It was previously top notch but some of the staff are now extremely rude, namely Angela. When I complained about her behavior, the vet really didn't care how rude Angela had been. The incident happened a little bit ago and I informed Angela and the vet I would not be returning. Strangely, I received an email today from the office manager, David, letting me know I have 30 more days of service with them. How hard is it to understand the... read more

Rude. Maybe cause it was a Monday, but when calling it's like you're inconveniencing them by seeking help for your pet. Amazing how fast one can leave a bad taste in your mouth. Sheesh.

Reply to the owner: If you think "limited touching" was the best you can do, you should just suggest the client to leave, instead of rushing the exam and charge 100 dollars anyway. I don't think it is fair to ask us pay another 70 dollars to finish whatever should be covered in the "unfinished" exam. It just does not make sense. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I've been taking my cats to this clinic for several years. I have to decide to look for anoth... read more

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I remember speaking with you and truly appreciate how much you care about your cat’s well being. During your visit, our doctor completed as much of the exam as your cat comfortably allowed. When a pet becomes too anxious, we sometimes have to limit handling to keep the experience safe and low-stress for everyone involved. This is part of our standard care approach and helps ensure pets continue to feel safe coming here. The pre-visit medication we recommend is meant to ... read more

Stay away from this place at all cost! It is the Kaiser of local animal hospitals. I'd leave zero stars if it were possible. We've been customers of theirs for nearly 10 years. We recently lost our 14 year old Cocker Spaniel who had chronic ear issues. We tried every treatment they suggested only for our poor girl's ears to continue getting worse to the point where they had growths in them that could not be fixed. They kept insisting it was us not taking proper care of her ears. We spent thousands of dollars trying to get ou... read more
