I was incorrectly charged for a visit on 8/1/24. My insurance has paid in-full the allowable amounts. I have made 3 phone calls to WellNow to request reimbursement and sent 2 emails to their email. Every time I call the 800 # I am told a check should be arriving soon or that I would receive a call back. Neither has happened. Went to wellnow for sons apt. ************* card was lost we still havemt recieved a new card . Was told by staff they do not look up insurances. Staff was *** instrested in their own personal conversation rather help. Was told i had to pay out of pocket evem though had insuranc What md office or urgenr care isnt able to look a child insurance Went to a different urgent was seen no problems office was able to lookip hos insiramce

I brought my daughter in for a physical and was up charged for a different service then sent a bill for the difference. When I tried to inquire about the discrepancy and why it wasn't billed to our insurance, the billing department lacked training, follow through, and customer service. I was told on two occasions that a manager would get back to me. It has been two months, and no one has reached out. Why was I asked for a 'co-pay' when nothing was being billed to insurance? My daughter used WellNow. They never sent a bill. We received a collections notice only. DO NOT go to WellNow. Find another urgent care.

Billing department is a scam. Their systems are extremely faulty. Took my daughter for a sports physical, which required prepayment prior to even being checked in. I did that and received a receipt. Then 2 weeks after the visit I was sent a bill. They mixed up patient numbers and could not be resolved by proactively calling. I had to email the receipt received from them to a general email address and got no response. Instead received repeated phone calls and text message saying I had overdue payment. I received a bill from WellNow in July for services rendered over 2 1/2 years prior. I called to find out what it was for and was told they were re-filing with my insurance and not to pay the bill. I then received another bill on 9/7 stating that I still owed the money only to find out that they sent it to collections on 9/6, the day before I got the bill. WellNow says there is nothing they can do. I can't even pay the amount due because it was sent to collections. I tried calling the collection agency and they said there is... read more

I received an invoice and promptly paid it. One month later I received another bill saying my account was overdue. I have spoken to three different people and was told the receipt they provided me when I paid the bill was not acceptable proof of payment. What??? Makes no sense to me. I then had to send them a copy of my credit card statement proving I charged the payment. I was told they have to research this and make sure the payment was actually made. I rarely need to visit an urgent care but in the past I have chosen the Well Now on *********** in ***********, **. They had a clean environment and friendly staff. Today I had an eye injury and when I called my optometrist they advised me to visit urgent care for an exam. I got there and they handed me a tablet and told me to enter all my info and scan my ID and health insurance, a little annoying but I understand things change. *****. Went to our local WellNow many times, no issues before. This particular time they saw me quickly and sent me to the hospital ( never asked for payment, I knew I was in the system so figured they would send the bill.) ******* got a bill months later that said "FINAL NOTICE, WILL GO TO COLLECTIONS IF NOT PAID"- only to find out they TOOK my money out of my *** account the same day! Never got a bill until that day. No warning, and instead of $165, they took $400! I use that account for my son's therapy and they wiped it ... read more
