On 9/8/26 I arrived at Wellnow Urgent Care in *********, **. I was being seen for a follow up visit from the week before. I was seen by a physician assistant ***** ******. My first impression of Mr ****** was that he appeared to be in a rush. When he first entered the examination room he asked why I was still had on the brace still when it was just a bruised bone? I sent an employee to this location to take a drug screen. I paid for it with a credit card upfront and never received the results. I tried contacting them with several emails and phone calls and got no where. I requested a refund and never received it. Money wasted. Then months later I received an email stating they were going to charge my credit card $651.00. Do not go to Wellnow Urgent Care!! They are trying to charge me $2k for one singular visit! They had me do a test without ever saying the cost or that they were going to send this bill. They refuse to send the claim to insurance, claiming they're out of network. It's absolutely miserable and infuriating.

You are not their priority, $$ is. Read all docs and do not sign package treatment/testing agreements. You will be charged for tests that determine what you do and do not have EVEN IF NOT NEEDED. You go there to get a slip for work to avoid points, they determine you are positive for an illness but they dont stop there. They send off labs for additional and unnecessary labs Because THEY CAN-BECAUSE YOU SIGNED A PACKAGE DOCUMENT. Terrible place! The doctor should NOT have a medical license. Didn't like the butterfly bandages that were used but I left them on and didn't clean the wound, just left it as is

I went in for one test, they did three without telling me. My insurance will only cover the one test, and now I owe 1000's of dollars to Wellnow in what seems to be a scheme to **** customers out of money.

If I could give "0" stars I would! Worst Urgent care ever!! Staff was very unprofessional and when I said they were not compassionate, a staffer (********) said no urgent care it?! That same staffer, ********, was the staff person who took my vitals. She wrote everything down on a PAPER TOWEL?! I waited over 55 minutes to be seen, and when she told the doctor my symptoms, the doctor said I should go to an ER since she could not diagnose me without it. THEY STOLE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION! They set up scheduled payments using my credit card even after the office I was seen at confirmed I had no charges after my actual visit. DO NOT USE WELL NOW LOCATIONS. The office I visited did not advertise as Well Now. Check the WellNow website for locations to avoid having your credit card information stolen.
Billed for $1200 lab tests for standard UTI. I have spent hours on the phone with billing. They say that is what my insurance agreed to. One test alone is $700, ****** gives average cost at $70 - $120. Total visit cost me $1000 after insurance coverage.
