I received very nice care while I was at well now. And then I got my bill. After negotiating rates with the insurance company they wanted to charge me close to $900 to diagnose a urinary tract infection. When I research the medical codes it appears that the most expensive test is actually even considered experimental and all of the remaining but one are not considered medically necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract infection.

Avoid this place at all costs! They will try to overcharge you just hoping you pay it and not realize that you have been overcharged. I called the customer service and was treated horribly and the guy kept over talking me when I was trying to ask questions. In the end, I was overcharged $131.61. Lets do the math:Total cost for visit: $405 Insurance paid: $205 Total Patient Payments: $200 Balance owed: $0 Receive a new bill in the mail for $131.61 The math doesnt add up!AVOID THIS PLACE

I have a $20 copay which was collected at each visit. Availity of whatever they use keeps telling them it is $40. I work for the insurance company. I have a $20 copay. I am going to **** about this. They repeatedly charge my card for $40 saying I signed a payment agreement. The only payment agreement they should be making anyone sign is to pay what the *** says the patient owes. ****** *. At ****** and Black Rd lactation horrific. Just rude. ZERO patients in there. Id choose no stars if possible.

Zero!! I am leaving a zero! I have insurance, they are billing my old insurance and stating I owe them 350 bucks. And since I paid my $40 copay they are saying they will now be taking out a payment by the 24th. I have not authorized this!! I called them and gave them my new insurance again, the man who was incredibly hard to understand told me he can see I have active coverage under the new plan and he billed them now. I want to start by saying my issues are not location specific. I have been to a few different locations and had issues. I visited the Clifton Park NY location tonight. I had reserved a 4:40pm time slot to be seen. I arrived prior to 4:40pm. I was put in an exam room and talked to the nurse around 5pm. Following talking with the nurse no one checked in with me at around 5:50pm I poked my head into the hallway and asked if everything was ok. They lied and said that they accepted my insurance and all that they would bill me was my copay. The most disturbing part is they saved my credit card information WITHOUT authorization! When I paid half of my bill they did it AGAIN! So upsetting that they continue to do this!!

I went to Wellnow in September of 2025 for a medical emergency. Upon arrival I provided my drivers license, insurance information, and paid my copay. Due to the severity of my condition I was transferred to the local emergency room via ambulance. Fast forward to March 1st 2026. I received a notice of collection, by text message, for an unpaid WellNow bill thru a collection agency. At first I thought it was a scam but after further investigation I realized it was not. This is the worst customer service for billing I have ever encountered. They billed me over $200 for a visit. They did not allow time for the insurance to get processed and kept billing me . Because of my 850 credit score, I did not want that affected in anyway, so I paid the bill, assuming I would just get a refund once my insurance paid. The insurance paid I never got a refund. I am a disabled combat veteran that used WellNow when I got sick. I am supposed to get three free visits a year (paid for by the VA) and the WellNow location is only a few blocks away from my house. For common colds or ailments, it is more convenient to use WellNow than travel to the VA hospital- which is located 45 minutes from my house.
