I went for a visit over 2 months ago after receiving confirmation beforehand that my insurance would cover it. The system was down so I had to pay out of pocket and I was told that I would be reimbursed later.I am still waiting and my insurance has already paid them in that time. The physicians themselves seem competent and courteous enough, but their billing practices are nothing short of predatory.For three suture points, I was billed an outrageous $1,050without any discussion of costs beforehand. I paid $60 at registration, leaving a supposed balance of $990. I visited wellnow in July for severe stomach pains to where I couldn't walk and was throwing up. I had different tests done. All of which should have been covered by insurance. I get a bill stating I owe alot of money. I filed a dispute with insurance and having been waiting on insurance. Their billing department is incredibly fraudulent. For a simple routine visit that I often have done they billed my insurance $1,500 and the portion I'm responsible for is $555. I've had this same visit done at a different location (same provider) and with different providers and have never been billed more than $80 for it. I've cross referenced the *** codes with ********************** and noticed they inflated all of the line items but some of them being more than 600%! Scam billing practices. Paid for services at the time of the appointment and still getting billed for that amount 3 months later. Every time I call they tell me they'll take care of it and to disregard the bill, but now they are threatening me with collections- over an amount I already paid. What an awful way to practice

Wellnow's billing practices are predatory and unethical. They sent me a bill for a recent visit and it is nearly impossible to pay because the billing zip code on my account does not match my actual billing zip code, which is the same address that they sent the bill to. The automated service to pay over the phone also says that the account number starts with "WN", mine starts with "PICCH" - none of this makes any sense.On top of that, when trying to call a live person to make the payment, they immediately hang up the phone a... read more

I believe well now urgent care (Physicians immediate care) is actively and knowingly involved in fraudulent billing. I am in dispute now for 2 separate claims from 9 months ago. They are refusing to tell me the place of service code used on the claims. The place of service should be urgent care, not office. They are refusing to tell me how they billed the place of service. *************** said they v=billed it as an office visit, which it was not. Wellnow are scammers for billing. In July we were given a Statement showing a mount owed of $80.95 we paid this. On the statement they indicated we were given a $20.24 discount. Funny ****** statement says we still own this amount even thought there was a discount clearly given. Also date of service was 12-24-2024 Today is ****** 12th.Called customer service person had horrible English skills and was totally unwilling to help.
