Salesperson was respectful and informative. Unfortunately, after one hour, told us in order to get the "deal", we had to sign up that night. Who would make a decision to spend 45K after an hour of a sales pitch....not me! I didn't want to waste the salespersons time since I would not sign any contract with such little time. This company has their salesman tell nothing but lies to get you to buy into their business, and it drags you down with it. 1. In the solar package deal I was supposed to get blown in insulation blown into my attic, because it was end of day and they wanted to get back home they made up a lie that I already had to much insulation in my attic so they could leave. 2. Never got to do business after being accused of being dishonest about my situation would never recommend them.
They set up a consultation and never showed up, called, or emailed.
Literally every part of this experience has been terrible. From sales, to installation, to this inspection that keeps needing to be rescheduled. First our sales associate told us we would receive a tax credit. This is not true. We do not and did not receive a tax credit. This of course swayed our decision to switch and in turn also affects our monthly payments. During installation, we never received the thermostat and lightbulbs, I had to chase so many people down to make that happen. Now our inspection keeps failing and the... read more
Incomplete work, lack of project lead/ownership, and failure to communicate status or work schedule.
******* This company should be closed. Everything they told us was a LIE... Cannot get any calls back to help resolve the issues we are having. Really horrible experience with this company. Many issues to many to list. Do not use this company, ever.....
i just want to say that power home solar will lie to you. nothing they told me about the tax credit was correct , they lie about the panels will run my entire house and it wont it only runs a few circuits. also there workmanship was shabby if i was not there to oversee them it would have been a mess i had to tell them repeatedly to things neatly, for i half to look at this forever. my internet did not work to monitor my system, they finally got it working then left with out showing me how to get the app an how to use it. ver... read more
I would NOT recommend PowerHome Solar to anyone. I have never spent so much money and got such poor customer service! They started off strong by getting very detailed plans, which I approved. Got my permits and called me January 27th and want to do the installation the next day. The young lady was very enthusiastic about the installation. Because I work midnights and already had other appointments that day, I let her know that it would not work. She attempted to persist for that day.
