I made the terrible mistake to sign their awful contract to get over $70785 worth of equipment, (according to them), installed on my barn roof. My tax accountant was the first to question the extreme price tag of the system when he told me he had never seen such an expensive system with any of his other clients. on may 17th, matthew t****** came to our house and and my husband just wanted a quote. He signed a contract, which we promptly cancelled the next day. With the salesman saying he loved us- as if. I have since spoke with a Josh, dumbest man on the planet earth. A woman named Stephanie, so what I fail to truly understand is your paperwork says we are cancelled, do you think I'm paying a cancellation fee?
Their sales pitch is misleading, service level VERY slow, and their integrity questionable at best. I signed a contract January 7. They began Install June 7, 5 months later. I was told at the time of signing the deal to expect installation in 0 to 90 days, but after speaking to customer service months later was told the realistic expectation is 4 to 6 months and they aren't sure why our salesman said that. Extremely pushy sales men only way could get him to leave my house was to sign and cancel in 3 day.
Can't give a 1 star, as not allowed. Absolute junk product, lies and deceipt. The product installed has not once even come close to supplying my needs nor what was promised and advertised. It costs more monthly than if I had nothing. Customer service is great for lying, setting up appointments but only when convenient for them. Then, 3 hours of waiting (time off from work) only to get a call saying sorry, we had an emergency. Thanks for wasting my day. My wife and I have had nothing but negative experiences with PowerHome Solar. 1) requested a Friday/Saturday install was scheduled with a Monday/Tuesday. 2) projected bad weather pushed my install to Friday/Saturday (imagine that) 3) Crew showed up on Tuesday (WHAT?) 4) Crew worked Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (maybe even Thursday but I'm not positive about that.) We had our Solar Panels installed about 3 years ago everyone was polite and helpful at first. Our electric bill didn't drop as much as we were lead to believe. The second year we saw a much-improved performance from our panels, until a 4 month period when the solar production we were monitoring on our phone app was really good, but our electric bill was as high as without the panels. If want to go solar go with tesla.. This is by far worst company ever to deal with. My project has been left unfinished since Thanksgiving last year 2020. Ready to rip them off my rood myself!
