The whole process took too long and they did not deliver what they promised .When the system didn't work after installation, there were repair people 3-4 times - with weeks of waiting in between each time. When they came out to do repairs, they brought a great big truck but didn't bring the right SCREWS - an unnecessary 2 week wait. We had our Solar installed on 8/30/22 and 8/31/22, 15 panels a Generac Back-up to the price of $62,000. We were told that We would get a Tax rebate of $16,000. We got the County Approval and waiting for the Power Company, when We found out on 9/27/22 they went Out of Business. Now I have a System that doesn't work, A Huge debt and No Recourse. Constant lies, malfunctioning equipment and a very poor installation. This company should never have done a single install of solar on anyone's home.
Had the system installed in November and had to have multiple service calls since. Have yet to see any relief in our energy bills.
I have had nothing but problems with power home/ pink energy from day one which was February of 2020. My system cost me $50,000 and was promised the loan would be cheaper then my electrical bill. Needless to say that wasn't the case. For the first year I was on and off the phone with them trying to get my system to work. Power Home Solar sale tactics are very misleading and Im truthful. I am now paying for solar panels that are not working. I have been told by Power Home Solar. That its not their problem that I have to pay for something thats not working. They have no idea how long it will be before its fixed. We were scammed. We are stuck with a $100,000 loan for a system that never got up and running. We never received our rebate that was due to us for signing up and now the company has closed their doors.
Less than a year ago we were sold solar panels that cost an arm and a leg. We were told for he amount of panels were purchasing we would no longer have to pay DTE for electricity. What a lie, we still have our +250 bill plus paying $300 a month for the solar panels. We were also told you do not need direct sunlight on the panels to generate power which was a lie also. They are liars, their equipment has failed and I cant get them to fix it. They are blaming Generac for the problems. Their salesmen lied about what the solar panels would do for me as far as what all they would cover. Their installers made a mess installing my new breaker box in my kitchen.
