Makes you wonder how this company is still allowed to do business. I was without AC in the height of summer in Florida for 38 days. After the issues were finally fixed (after multiple vendors and visits) I was told in recorded calls and emails I would be credited for 38 days of rent that I was without AC. Why are the partners Pathlight Management & Home Partners of America LLC, soooooo terrible??! They never answer any messages, return calls, acknowledge showing requests, send any self-showing codes "via" Rently. You monopolize house rentals in MN & throughout the USA, yet since our rental search beginning in April 2022 (it's now mid August 2022), we've never received a reply about any Pathlight "managed" houses. TERRIBLE! I paid to have the entire house painted and carpeted before I moved in. Nothing was done, not even the surface cleaning they promised. Three-week old rotted garbage in the garage full of maggots. Dead trees cut down and left all over the lawn. Nobody returns phone calls or provides status updates. Impossible to escalate. RAN, DON'T WALK, AWAY
Do not rent from them. RUN! We have been waiting a week for them to fix a slab leak, during this time we have been without hot water and unable to use the showers/bathtubs and our gas bill TRIPLED. At first they kept denying the work orders without a call to confirm the situation. Only when the water started to come through the wall is when they FINALLY approved to get someone out to look at it. Second look was 3 days later... and here we are another 3 days and no idea when they'll actually fix it.
I worked with a resident to secure a home through Home Partners. The home closed in May and the resident has not moved into the property as of August. Communication with Home Partners and Pathlight has been abysmal. There is no clear communication. There is no consistent person communicating with the resident. We moved into our home 30 days ago and have had no water, plumbing, toilets, etc for a week now. We have worked with their maintenance who have escalated the seriousness of this matter, health hazard, leaking pipes, personal property destroyed for standing water in bedrooms, HVAC room, water in the walls, Mitigation has been here twice to pull carpets, but water continues to seep. They should literally run this MESS of a company out of business. That Carly and the bootleg management is a total joke. This COMPANY IS TRASH!!!!! DON'T EVER GO THROUGH HOMEPARTNERS OF AMERICA AND CERTAINLY NOT PATHLIGHT. The worst experience ever dealing with them. My home was Beautiful but, the ugly in dealing with these people, the high ass rent and HOA harassment was horrible. They contract the worst repairmen and never get a job done worth anything. RUN RUN
A 0 star rating would be mote appropriate. I have been rating since May 27, 2022. Upon move in the home was filthy, we even found hypodermic needles in cabinets. 4 days in we reported a major electrical issue where we cannot use outlets in our kitchen dining or hallway. We also cannot use overhead lights in those rooms or our built in microwave. 2 months later and the issue is still not fixed. Customer service will have you on hold for hours with no resolution. THE WORST DONT RENT OR EVEN BUY THROUGH THEM!!!! I'm currently in a lease with them. Since day one I've had nothing but horrible experiences. Starting with I was moved into a dirty home which the claim they have a team come clean. DEFINITELY didn't and have pictures to prove that! The house carpets were disgusting (had to clean myself) , multiple toliets and sinks were leaking along with mold in one of the bathrooms.
