Move Out Process/Security Deposit Issue: They provided me with my Security Deposit Disposition to review. They claimed that I owed for items that were normal wear and tear and charged me for utilities that should have been transferred back by Pathlight within the 7-days prior to move out date. I disputed a few and concurred with others. They took days to respond back. My biggest gripe is that my deposit was for $1,845.00. We signed a lease and and discussed we didn't have an immediate need to move. The place was a MESS. We were told that the home would be cleaned prior to move in. It took me 2 1/2 hours to fill out the Move in Condition form! I submitted 10 different service requests to get these things addressed before we moved in and they denied them saying that they were cosmetic. COSMETIC? This is the worst company you could rent from. We moved in and immediately saw everything that was wrong. There was so much mold. There were leaks that caused more mold and flooding and damage to the downstairs ceiling. We ended up having to break our lease because they wouldn't fix it. They sent a company to rip up the floors and sinks and never came to replace it. We walked on plywood and had no sink for over 4 months. Path light is the worst company that you could ever rent from they are very unprofessional they will hang up on you they don't fix anything we rented a place from across the country they sent us pictures when we moved in the house was not the same as in the pictures it was dirty the dishwasher is broken the roof is bad the fence is falling over and you can't get these guys to do anything to fix anything and they charge you a lot of rent
Absolute trash. Charged us a chunk of our security deposit because we left holes in the basement. Lol, we moved into a house with an unfinished basement. Apparently, that was our fault? We didn't touch one thing in the basement and actually fixed multiple things around the house without charging them and they still had the audacity to blame us for a condition that we moved into. I truly don't know how they are still in business, oh wait..it makes sense now, they just keep your security deposits.
Pathlight services are the worst! They claim to respond within 24 hours, but that is totally incorrect. I've had multiple requests open for weeks and the responses are now being ignored! You cannot even call this a service. If I could I would give them negative stars.

Ended Lease waiting for the deposit to be returned the check was sent to the wrong address typo by Pathlight. The check was returned to Pathlight jumping through hoops to have them correct the mailing address and send out the check to the correct address.

I'd give them zero stars if i could. I'm currently renting a property through them now and the website, maintenance app and communication is the ABSOLUTE worst.
I paid an application fee and uploaded all necessary documents and now I can't reach anybody. Be careful these folks are taking money and scamming people...all it keeps saying when I call is we have a high call volume and can't take your call, they won't reply to my emails, and on the website it says I have not uploaded documents which I know I have. I emailed numerous times no reply. I am so angry because it took me forever to find a house I liked and now it seems like this was all a scheme....very disappointed ð???
