We both had fillet mignon and were disappointed in it because of the salt content apparently they were both salt crusted which ruined the exterior of the meat, I would recommend they stop preparing the meat in that manner or at least ask the customer if that is okay to do. I feel a great cut of beef doesn’t need all of that salt. We enjoyed the other sides and appetizers.
I don’t think it was worth the money. I don’t believe that we should have to pay for a side with our dinner.
The $50 for 50+ on Thursday night was a poor choice. The 2 guests we brought with us opted for the steak dinner. The small portions were embarrassing. Due to what appeared to be understaffing our dinner took 2 hours, although our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. Kelly was the most positive part of our dining experience. This was not our first visit to Portico but it will be our last.
Service is always top notch at the Portico as well as ambiance. My meal was just OK. I had the chicken Calabrese. It was way overcooked to my liking and very difficult to cut. My boyfriend had the special which was lobster over spaghetti. Although it was very tasty, it was a small piece of lobster. Our meals weren’t as good is our previous visits. It’s very pricey so we save dining there for special occasions.

We had the50/50. $50 for people over 50. Fixed menu, we had 6oz steak. Steak quality was good, but it was cold, mash potatoes tasted like from a box. 3 asparagus sticks. Too much salt/spice on steak. Cesar salad-way overdressed limp lettuce tooooo salty. Restaurant needs a re-do for the interior. Probably won’t be back.
In and out in 25 minutes!! For $65 a plate I would expect a better experience, Waitress was bussing and cleaning her own tables never even got the drink I ordered. Had the short rib special meat was good. Small portion of flavorless potatoes and a couple shreds of carrot to go with it. Overall would not go back
This restaurant used to be high end. Now food has quality and presentation of Dennys. The presentation of their flagship item, the steak, used to be served on a wooden plank, with garnishment as shown on their web page. Now the quality of the steak has decreased and was just in the center of a cold round plate. I should of taken a picture, it was that bad. Won’t be back. 6 pasta dishes doesn’t take 2 hours and the smart mouth comment from the manager was not a good move. Most condescending comment by a manager ever, “So sorry we didn’t meet your expectations”. No you didn’t even meet the standards!!!! We will never come back!

I was so unstatisfied with everything that happen.. we where forgotten about we watched our drinks sit at the bar for almost 20 minutes with no one bringing them over .we watched others get their food before we ever did then when our food came out me amd my friends steak was raw so had to send that back after 2 hours no food no drinks lost my whole appetite .. for something I walked into bring super excited about .. I would never return to this place .. a waste of $400 to not eat .. still tipped the 20% .. never was our wate... read more
