Honestly not happy with the overall experience. Met friends from out of town that we haven't seen in months. Got reservations and was truly excited. Waitress suggested a local farm raised cut of beef that had grass that was under cover ect. You could buy this very limited steak for $3 per ounce. So I went bone in 20oz. Medium rare. If the steak wasn't mostly fat/cartilidge the other was literally raw. I'm not one to complain because it's not the waitresses fault. Dinner took more than 45 minutes to be served the prime rib special. When it did finally come out it was undercooked and had to be sent back . Servers were pleasant but clearly the cooks are lacking skills

We waited a very long time from start to finish. Three and a half hours for dinner. Following dinner, I was given two different checks. We were all very disappointed with our whole experience, expected much better .

My husband and I eat out often. We enjoy fine dining. Unfortunately, I am dairy free. I can tell if a restaurant has a good chef if he/she is able to make certain meals without dairy upon request. Portico was not one of these restaurants. They were unable to make anything dairy free except for steak, which I don’t eat. I ordered a lobster and arugula salad and when I tasted the lobster, realized they used butter. Now I am suffering from ingesting dairy. My group dined at Portico for dinner Saturday February 16 and brunch the next morning. The food we were served Saturday night was outstanding. We couldn't have found an issue with our food if we tried. However, the service was abysmal. Increasingly longer breaks between the courses developed. To make matters worse, the noise in the restaurant was overpowering. Thumping club music was playing and, added to that, there were several obnoxiously loud groups. I ordered meatloaf with spinach per description, came drenched in gravy and loaded with mushrooms! Niether did I want or care for. Had the description stated such would have ordered something.

The first time we ate at Portigo food was good but service was very slow. Gave it a second try tonight and after waiting for our meal for an hour we walked out. Horrible service.

To expensive for the quality and quantity of food we got, 3 out 4 of our group got steaks which were lukewarm at best. We very much enjoyed the casino and hotel but will be dining elsewhere upon our return.
