Not the dining experience we had hoped for considering the chefs reputation for excellence. Food was fair and served luke warm.Just started our appetizer and the entrees arrived ! Our waiter was missing in action for most of the night. To go into anymore detail would remind me how unpleasant the evening was. We will not return Maria Spijker

I was very Dissatisfied with my meal it reminded me of a frozen meal in taste. I don't believe that I will return due to the The way the meal tasted.

We made reservations in advance for an hour and 45 minutes prior to the start time for a show at the Vine theater. We waited an hour and 5 minutes for our food to arrive after placing our order with the server. The meal was very good, but we were unable to truly enjoy it because we did not want to be late for the show. Our waitress was apologetic, even though it obviously was not her fault. Service in the Portico was absolutely terrible for brunch. We had to chase down our waitress and when we finally did she acted as if we were bothering her. The servers in the buffet area all looked miserable. Definitely not the friendliest staff at all. To top it off we automatically had to pay an 18% gratuity. The hostess was nice and the gentleman that was playing the keyboard were delightful.

We were very excited to try Portico, but the service was horrible. The appetizers were good, but our steaks were way over cooked and it took forever to place a drink order. Even worse, they never cleared the plates. We literally had to stack the on the side of the table! Very disappointed- not what you expect with this price tag!

I was so disappointed in Portico this time. Service was fair, it was very noisy, and food was blah. Despite making a reservation over a month ago they stuck us in the back room, which was just plain noisy. No ambiance at all. Wanted this to be special for my friends, who were celebrating their engagement. We did get complimentary champagne though for the celebration. Pretty disappointed in the atmosphere, very loud and disruptive. The drunk group next to us were shouting profanity so loud I couldn’t have a conversation at our table, yet the staff did nothing to deter this. Probably would have been classier eating at the buffet, we won’t be back. $39 Filet that I could finished in just a few bites and it didn’t come with anything else. Do not recommend this restaurant...

My wife and I went there for our anniversary my wife’s meal was good but my meal was terrible. I ordered a 26 oz rib eye steak and it was tough .not what I expected for 60.00 !,, needless to say that it put a damper on the nite. I will say that the waiter and rest. Manger went out of their way to help. Not a good night !!!
