I ordered meatloaf with spinach per description, came drenched in gravy and loaded with mushrooms! Niether did I want or care for. Had the description stated such would have ordered something.

The first time we ate at Portigo food was good but service was very slow. Gave it a second try tonight and after waiting for our meal for an hour we walked out. Horrible service.

To expensive for the quality and quantity of food we got, 3 out 4 of our group got steaks which were lukewarm at best. We very much enjoyed the casino and hotel but will be dining elsewhere upon our return.

Get ready to be “up-sold”. Waitress didn’t want to be there. She was disappointed when we only ordered wine by the glass vs bottle. Al la Cart menu means costs rise quickly. Don’t order the chicken entree. Not going back.

I have been to MANY fine-dining restaurants in New York State. Portico at del Lago Resort and Casino is currently not even on my "favorites" list. My husband and I always get the filet mignon at these type restaurants - - as far as we are concerned, this is the best 'test' of how good a restaurant is. I asked for my entree to be cooked 'rare' (red center, soft texture), while my husband requested 'medium rare' (warm red center, a little firmer texture); when the filets were brought to us, both of them were grayish-brown thro... read more

Our server David was wonderful. The food, though, was very disappointing overall. We felt all the food was overthought and 'overdesigned'. The Brussels had too many ideas, and were very acidic, despite the raisins for sweetness. The pepperocinis in the Brussels and cauliflower were completely unnecessary. We will likely not be dining here again.

Probably the worst service in a high end restaurant I have ever seen.....took about 25 minutes to get a drink......then she said they did not have the del lago IPA....how do you run out of your own specialized beer. Took another 10 minutes to get a replacement...... Food was good but not worth the price they charged.....no candles on tables and overall very load.....not real happy......won't go again.....

We were very excited to try this restaurant, but had less than an enjoyable experience. I expected the food to be exceptional, it was good at best. Our service was terrible, our server was nowhere to be found. We told her that we were going to a show at The Vine at 8:00 when we were initially seated and we ended up being late to the show. I don't believe that we will be going to this restaurant again.
