They sent out a payment demand letter on 5/18 to pay by 5/21. I live in ** didn't receive the letter until 5/27. They moved me to evictions and was told I had to pay 75%of the balance with certified funds. Got a cashiers check and mailed it to the address given and they then proceeded to send the check back to me had me served with eviction papers. They are doing this to thousands of people. **************** is horrible. Sitting on hold for more than 2 hours and then phone hangs up.Luckily my neighbor gave my husband a representative for the company, a lady ***********************. Caller her a few time and emailed but that still doesn't seem to do much as she could not provide me with any updates or eta to resolve. This company is awful. I have been at my residence for almost 4 years...I have NEVER BEEN LATE ON MY RENT. This awful company gained management of my property in the middle of April 2022. I was not happy that Havenbrook Homes transferred my property to Progress Residential AFTER I signed my lease for another year. For the last 2 months, I have been charged a LATE FEE on my account even AFTER paying my rent ON TIME. I honestly think zero stars. I have had issues with this company since day one. My issue started when I did a lease to lease transfer. I needed to be closer to my job. Tried going with another company got scammed for $1500, so I decided to stay with Progress Residential and do a lease to lease transfer. I got charge $15 a month for a year for not having renters insurance, but I had renters insurance that sent them proof insurance. Received 2 $ 125 late fees for not paying for something I already had, and they refused to remove them. Not to mention if you get a HOA violation. They won't tell you what it's for They just **** you $45 for each violation they send you. Even if you prove there was no violation they refuse to remove the charges. It's a poor poor company.. A very dishonest company that has lied from before the beginning of the lease. They received our payment via mail, it was picked up by ************** on Monday. It has not been applied to our account. Instead progress held on to the payment to charge us with an eviction fee and month to month rent rates. I called on 6/30 and was on hold for 1.5 hours. I was rerouted 3 times after asking for the department I knew I need to talk to from yesterday. Progress uses these tactics to make you late and to push more fees on you.
This company is the complete worse, something literally needs to be done about how they con you into renting from them but them change their policies mid term! THE **** ASSOCIATED WITH THIS COMPANY ARE RIDICULOUSLY HIGH WHICH THEY DO NOT TELL YOU IN ADVANCE. Once your in the home you never hear anything back from them unless it regards a payment. I am a former tenant that received a move out statement in the mail regarding balances owed. Ive been trying to contact them by email and by phone and NOTHING! I have been trying to contact someone for 2 weeks and I am running out of time before my account goes to collections. I have never rented from a company before that you cant get into contact with EVER until now.. very poor customer service
They scam you and take your money without doing a credit check this company is a complete scam and took 100 for two app fees and did not run no credit check I looked up my soft pulls and hard and they basically took my money cause nothing was ran dont waste your time
