We planned our move to ***** and were approved for a home through Progress Residential. They stated the home should be ready between 6/21/21 and 6/28/21. We arrived on 6/30/21 and called multiple times to finally find out it would not be ready until 7/2/21. 7/2/21 arrives and after multiple calls we find out it will not be ready for another 2 weeks with no explanation and no heads up. Absolutely the worst rental company, wish I could give zero stars. They are dishonest, unresponsive, rude, scammers. They steal money from their tenants while providing zero assistance to things their responsibility for per the lease. I broke my lease 7 months early just to get the h*** out. House was a dump, yet charged me for the repairs to make it livable. I refused to pay. They need to be taken out of business, theyre disgusting.

I have never had such a horrible experience with customer service that I have had with **********************. I have been treated so rudely by everyone who answers the phone after being told hold times were 7 minutes and I was on hold for close to an hour. We have been in one of their homes for only 3 months and we are moving out. Our house smells like mold and when we put in a work order they told us that standing water in the crawl space is normal and the sump pump consists of a bucket with a hose. I did not originally signed a lease with progress residential. The home Im living at was sold by another management company in progress now manages it. After hours and Air conditioning went out. It was above ************************************************* the home and about 3 every 30 minutes getting hotter and hotter. They deserve minus stars. We received a letter from a realtor stating they had a buyer that wanted to purchase our house for a large sum of money "as is." I called and asked about the amount and the realtor said it was correct and they were willing to buy as is. We have lived in our home 23 years and it is very well maintained. Some mechanicals replaced this year. They sent us the offer and said to take our time looking it over. We decided to have a realtor friend check it out. This company purchase our home sight unseen. Cash offer well over asking price. We didnt respond within 24 hours and they then increased their offer. They had an inspection done on our home and basically looked for issues and reasons to nit move forward. Some of the absurd items were removing our storm door, removing brand new LVP floors and replacing with different ones upstairs and downstairs. This company has been bad from the very beginning. I can't even begin to recount all the trouble that we've had moving in and maintaining any sense of peace in the home. I'll make the effort to recount everything. Before we even moved in, I went in take a look at the house. I'm not sure how this treacherous company has an A+ rating. I've lived in one of their homes since May 2020 and in the first 6 months alone have had over a dozen service calls to fix a variety of issues from electrical to leaking plumbing. One of their own electrician's even stated that he's not quite certain the house's electrical system is "quite up to code" with the persistent breakers tripping and outlets shorting.
