Wish I could give this company 0 stars. I Put in a holding fee for a house we planned on renting. I was approved for the house and had an estimated move in date of 7/6. I was contacted by one of the leasing agents 2 weeks before estimated move in date saying that the previous tenants reneged on their notice to vacate on the day they were supposed to move out. They told me that they will not be going the eviction route as it would cost too much and take too much time. This company is spineless and has given me and my family t... read more

I don't think you can give this company any stars. They have been the worse company to rent from. One would think that renting from a company would be better than a single landlord and that can not be further from the truth. I move in during June 2020, height of covid, the house was a disgrace. Move in date was June 6th. July 4th we had absolutely no A/C. As a person who currently serves this country with two small kids this was unacceptable. We move in maybe mid ***** and we seen bugs. We emailed the gentleman who told us if we noticed anything to email him. We get no response so we paid for ***** pest control to come out. The *** lady comes to our home and introduces herself and she lets us know when Progress started remodeling the home they put a new mailbox ?? up and did not paint the wood white. She also let us know they pulled up all the shrubs and did not replace them. Progress came out and painted the mailbox. So we here and in April Progress sends a viol... read more

Keep them out of your neighborhoods. **** had two houses sitting empty for months and the weeds are over 5 feet. **** notified them several times and get no response. The houses now have code enforcement on them. They dont take care of their properties

We moved into a Progress Residential home this month and have had nothing but a stressful experience. When I applied, I was told that our move in date would be June 7th. I then received text messages that the home was scheduled to be ready around the 1st. The week of the 1st, I texted or called my contact everyday and she said that the system still said the 1st but it was not ready. She then said the house would be ready for move in on Monday the 7th. 4/10/2019.. Positive, engaging, thorough! Thanks, *****!6/24/2021.. I went from 5 down to 1 star in a bit more than two years. It was cumulative, and I always give a chance to make things straight, but here it is. This company does next to nothing once you move in. Its been a nightmare and I cant wait to move out early next year. Terrible. I spoke with someone regarding renting from progress and went through every scenario on both myself and my husband. I was assured that there was no reason we should be denied and to go ahead and apply. I gathered everything needed and paid a fee of $385.00 only to be denied 8 hours later with zero explanation as to why. I emailed back and asked why we were denied and got no response. I called 3 times and each time I have been sent to different departments or placed on hold for over an hour or more with zero help. T... read more

The absolute worst company I have ever rented from. I have been renting for over 30 years. This is by far the worst - if I could give negative stars I would, but it is not an option. Terrible customer service: no one responds to emails with anything other than template response, telephone numbers listed in signature blocks are not in service. Double billing, hidden fees, and poor communication. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!
