This company goes against its own policies and counts rent late by paying on the 3rd of the month. Their bookkeeping is terrible as you have to prove you made the payments. Very unwilling to work with residents. Not recommended

Progress Residential is absolutely terrible my husband and I submitted an application for one of their homes and we were denied over a simple traffic citation. We meet all of the requirements and then some. When requesting more information we were given the go around and told to contact the reporting agency, they advised that the only thing they advised was that a traffic citation was the only thing showing and that it would not effect us. BE AWARE! DO NOT move into a home/ apartment if it is managed by Progress Residential. The customer service is horrible and you will have a hard time getting any issues handled. The only thing you will get out of dealing with Progress Residential is issues and crazy charges. Makes sense they only have a 1.07 rating on BBB. I lived in a home for almost two years. I have been a resident for several years. So beware... do not renew because all the home issues become your problem and expense. They are quick to respond read your lease. But to renew they do "NO" preventive maintenance or offer any incentive to stay. You are responsible to power wash the exterior of a two story home. I understand I would be responsible for dirt I cause but the normal weather and outside elements. When I hired the power washer contractor he even stated this is the owner responsibility. This company is the worst and there crooks as well. I paid 3450 to move in in January now there telling me I have a balance of almost 3000 dollars. I’m not understanding how that’s possible and you can’t get anyone on the phone to assist or ask questions. When you do get someone on the phone there rude and they hang the phone up in your face after you already sat on hold for hours. I’m looking in to legal help because this is too much.

These people will nickel and dime you on everything. Where to begin. Well back in August of 2020 my ac unit went out. Keep in mind August is one of the hottest months. Well I called progress as soon as they opened and told them the situation and how it was already almost 90 inside my house with 4 small children. The lady told me someone would be in contact with me about coming out to fix it..no one ever called me back! I finally called a ac company myself and had them come out and fix it! Within the first 2 weeks of my move-in date, I raised a concern about my master bedroom flooding every time it rains. I forwarded multiple pictures, made multiple calls, sent many emails, and had many conversations starting from November the 11th of 2020. I spoke with Keenan Brock through the applications department with Progress Residential about my application for a home. He was very uninformative and EXTREMELY rude. He had no customer service skills whatsoever and would laugh at certain questions I would ask. Terrible representation of a company with an A+ rating with the BBB.

Do NOT sell your house to Progress Residential! They come in hot with a full asking offer without ever taking an in person look at the house then severely low ball you after their “inspection” process. Mind you, they don’t have an actual licensed inspector do the “inspection.” They have someone on their maintenance staff come in (and not lock up your property when he leaves) and look at every crevice of your house.
