We have suspected mold in the home on two occasions. The first time we called maintenance regarding the situation they had someone come out, claim they did not know what it was and simply cleaned the ceiling. This second time when it returned we were not taking that response for an answer. Progress residential has a third party company come out and confirm that there is an leak in the attic and it was definitely mold in our closet. It has been a month since the mold has been confirmed and no one has been out to resolve the i... read more

I applied to rent here in early August. By mid August, we had decided to buy a house rather than rent, so I cancelled my application. I was told by the agent that I would get my holding deposit of $250 back in 3-14 business days. I has now been over 4 weeks and I have STILL not received the deposit back. We really need that money as we are trying to buy a house AND have a baby on the way. I read on here that a lot of people have similar problems and to get them solved they had to post on here. That's really disappointing in ... read more

Business response:

It is now 10/20/2020, and they are claiming that they sent my refund back on 08/13/2020, which I can prove that I never received in my bank through my bank statements. Two months is a ridiculous amount of time. It's also funny how the 4 other times that I have called, no one mentioned that I was supposedly already paid out, and apparently the claim that I filed was reviewed and I was never notified. This is getting ridiculous. I am 7 months pregnant, and could be using the $250.00 to buy things to prepare for the baby. This ... read more

I am a current tenant of Progress, I have had leaks in the second floor and first floor of this property. I submitted a work order last year and they still javent come out to fix the leaks. I don't know what to do, my lease is up in October and I just recived a letter telling me I had to vacate the property due to non payment of rent. Mind you my rent is due on the second of each month. Can someone guid me as to what I can do?

I agree with everyone in here. Absolutely worst company you could ever imagine dealing with. We have $700 worth of charges on our rent with zero explanation that we’ve been trying to resolve for over three months now and every time we call they open a complaint, nothing is done and they slap us with late fees. Getting anyone to actually communicate with you is impossible. I won’t say nearly impossible because they just don’t and won’t respond. They don’t do repairs and raise rent and raise rent. It’s an absolute joke. DO NOT... read more

DO NOT rent from this company. They do not give a shit about their residents. I've lived in this house for about 6 months and have had multiple problems with repairs and their response. I was without A/C for most of July and they offered no solutions, I had to force them to bring over a portable AC unit and it only cooled a small room down to 80 degrees, so I had to stay elsewhere for 3 weeks. When I tried to get them to credit the rent they wouldn't even call me back...I was sent an email a few weeks later just saying the c... read more

Whatever you have to do, stay away from this company. The houses they have are wonderful and immaculate, but their service and customer service department is horrendous. We always had slow draining toilets and showers but didn’t think much of it until it became a more relevant problem. A few months into moving into our house, we noticed none of our toilets or showers would drain. It took them 3-4 days to come out and look into repairing the issue. They decided there was a large stoppage in our sewage system and had to have t... read more

This company is absolutely the most unprofessional business I have ever come into contact with. My ceiling has been leaking from a pipe that was supposed to be rectified in 2/2020 prior to move in. It is now August 2020 and my ceiling is leaking to point that there is sheet rock all over my garage and vehicle. My bathroom is out of commission as well. I am a single mom of a 2 year old that I have had to keep in these unsafe living conditions. I have been relentlessly calling for 2 weeks but to no avail. They have sent out 2 ... read more

If I could give zero starts I really would. This company will push off your service requests as much as possible. I had. A plumbing leak for nearly three weeks before someone came out to fix it. Which they DO state is an emergency even if you cal their main phone number. Since we moved in in September of 2019 we’ve had ceiling damage due to heavy rainfall. They have came out at least 5 times for the same thing, and the roof is still messed up. Thinking about paying out of my own pocket to get an outside contracter to check o... read more

I have lived in my house that I rent from progress residential for almost two years. I did not call to file a work order for over a year and a half. On June 16th we had a pipe leak in the wall. Progress residential was very quick to send someone to fix it. after it was fixed it was still leaking. I called the vendor who was amazing and they were back within the hour. Our water was shut off for most of the day. The next day the water was still leaking. The water to the house was shut off. And for 12 days we could not live in ... read more
