Please do not rent from the company! There unprofessional and unorganized. After weeks of being strung along about the availability of the home I was approved for they told me it wasn’t going to be available. They charged me a second application fee and holding and yet to take if of my ledger. The home we are currently in has had maintenance issue after maintenance issue. DO NOT RENT from this company. Straight trash. If negative stars were a possibility, there wouldn’t be enough negative stars to rate them. My family and I have been dealing with a garbage HVAC unit since we moved in 4 1/2 years ago. 10+ trouble calls on said unit. Same part replaced 2 different times that has an average replacement cost of $1000 dollars. Part keeps failing. Very poor communication, the price changed on the house while we were under contract. It was a very bad experience and I had to keep calling back to get a response every after I filed the compliant. Then I was told that the house was rented out to someone else
If I could leave zero stars then I would. This is by FAR the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I've been renting with them for over four years. I have NEVER missed a payment. My water went out at my property FOUR DAYS AGO and they still HAVE NOT repaired it. How insane is that? Shame on you Progress Residential! I have been a long term tenant, taken very good care of your property, always paid my rent on time! I have done everything expected and more on my part. You however, have lied to me regarding my 10 outstanding work requests (pending for over 6 weeks), you told me just as recent as Thursday June 11th that the CDC has placed restrictions on you preventing you from conducting routine maintenance. I am a current tenet. I attempted to get a maintenance issue resolved for over three months regardin trees that need to be trimmed on the property. My lease agreement states that any tree over 8' is the responsibility of Progress. Every time I call they tell me I a different reason to as to why service is not completed. The first was covid. The second was people are not paying their rent so they are not servicing properties to save money. Don’t ever rent from Progress Residential!!!!! I WOULD NEVER EVER RECCOMEND THEM and I rented from the for over 5 years!!!!!! How about I follow all the procedures and pay these carpet cleaners and you even have to pay $250 for a cleaner even if you clean yourself!! So I moved out 5/4 and I have heard NOTHING from them! This home that I moved into is infested with ants and roaches. The appliances are old and failing. Since I moved in a Progress Residential home in March, I gave my notice to Vacate in May. I have had my oven/stove fixed 3x and it was not quick, I went weeks without cooking for my children.
