DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! I REGRET THE DAY I SIGNED A LEASE WITH THEM. We were given a rat infested home. It was filthy, and the carpets were not cleaned properly. These people are ripping my family of on are utilities with this scam called con service charging us more for utilities then we actually use marking up price from the actual utilities company water,sewer, electricity this is outrageous and needs to stop . We got so screwed in Orlando, Fl. Always paid on time, house looked amazing when we left. We gave a 60 day notice. Actually sooner than that. Stayed in contact the whole time while my husbands company was shutting down. He got an offer 3 states away we had to take and Progress was absolutely zero help in finding a rental in North Carolina for us. We got hit with 800$ in behind electric, water and sewer bills. I moved in my home on Christmas Eve. Prior to moving into the home I informed the leasing agent and the real estate agent that the home was dirty and needed to be cleaned before we moved in. This was an entire two weeks before we move in date. When we got the keys and moved in the home it was still in the same condition dirty. I highly advise NOT renting with this company. I rented a property from them starting November 2018 and if I'm being completely honest, everything was well with them all the way until the end. They charged me for an extra month of rent, and then claimed they could not give my money back until the end of the next month. Don't rent from Progress Residential, ever! They are greedy and don't care about their customers. They will take you for every penny they can. I've tried to give Progress Residential the benefit of the doubt. I just renewed my lease through Dec 2020, and I've been here three years now. They've always been a cheapskate company to rent from, but I love the house and the neighborhood. This year they raised my pet rent from $20/pet per month to $35/pet per month, so I have to pay an additional $105 each month for my 3 chihuahuas... read more
