If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We have lived in our house for less than a year, and have had non stop problems with our AC unit. We have called numerous times, and have had numerous technicians out with nothing resolved. They put the blame on the vendor, and never fix the issue. When calling we have asked how many times have we called regarding our AC. 18 TIMES AND COUNTING WE HAVE CALLED, they said they know we have been calling but we have not had our AC properly serviced or repaired. Just run from this company. They misrepresent the state of the properties they rent. You have to jump through hoops to get anything fixed properly and they give you excuses like "well you have to understand these are older homes and things go wrong." No I don't have to understand, all I have to do is give you money to provide me with a "high quality rental home...where we take care of everything..." like you're website states. I have lived in my house for a little over a 1 year now. The A/C unit has broken so many times. It’s leaked through the my bathroom from the attic twice ( literally had a mini flood). It keeps shutting off and of course it would it’s an old unit and I only know that because of the multiple technicians who keep coming by, who are all saying the same thing. They are a rip off. The picture of home is not true, the house is outdated and no repairs, no new carpet, and no new paint. They rent was going to be $2000 or more a month, I told them it's not worth it. I've never moved into a place as. They recieved almost 24000 from last tenant and they were not not repainting or replace carpet. The counters and cabinets in kitchen were damaged as well. Just ridiculous. I am beyond frustrated. I have to find a place within 2 weeks.
This company is extremely heartless and will do anything to get extra money from you. Before we moved into one of their properties we brought up concerns regarding the fence in the backyard. There were holes that I was concerned my dog could squeeze through. Before we officially rented the house we were told to bring up our concerns at move in. So we did. Absolutely every review found on BBB is true. None of those shown below have exaggerated. I'm in the middle of a simple transfer from one house to the other, and they've taken weeks to get back to me about the basics of moving to the new house, were unclear on the timing of the transfer against the billing cycle, and - now get this - advertised the house I was scheduled to move in to inaccurately! Believe the reviews they are true. I’m in the process of moving into a home and before I moved in (right after the approval) I voice my concerns about the master room tub and shower being filthy and nasty. I talked to so many people and they all stated they were going to call me back and not one person has the decency to follow through. I’ve taken so many pictures of this and sent so many emails. Honestly Progress Residential is the worst company I have ever rented through. When I was first moving in, the house was not in the best shape, it smelled heavily of urine (that was fixed before move in but slowly came back and NEVER went away), a lot of the items were SEVERELY damaged, not working, or in poor shape/dirty.
