The new online system they put in place about a year ago breaks up the payments of rent and utilities. I have paid the rent portion every month online on the first and the utilities sometimes on the 15th. HOWEVER, during my home buying process I have just now found out that when I pay the specific payment it does not go to that. It goes to the utilities first therefore now showing I have late rent payments. Once we move out (whenever that is now because we may not get our home loan now) we will never rent from them again.
These people are terrible. I wish i would have read reviews before moving there. I gave 1250 deposit and they wanted more money. They crump up charges like light bulbs and tissue holders. Never go a real last bill. Received late fee chargers reversed on bill and never was late. This company charged for dish removal and i never had a dish. Don’t rent here u will be sorry. Property was not even maintain.
Absolutely horrible company disrespectful employees they will lie and cheat you out of money come up with bogus fees and repairs to keep your security deposit then send balance to collection agency to hit your credit after you move out without ever sending a final bill or summary of what’s “owed” huge scam artist STAY AWAY!!!!
I kept this place spotless........I moved out early because they were charging me more to break my lease than than my lease had left on it. I did an initial walk through with the Progress Representative and he said the house was AMAZING and I just needed a few tweaks. I made all of the changes and even had the house cleaned again.....and now they are only giving me half of the deposit and charging me for items that weren't an issue. I applied for a home that was on the market on Friday, June 15th @ 10:59 PM. Once I applied was told that I would be charged $500 holding fee. This holding fee is to prevent others from also submitting an application on the same property. This $500 fee also supposedly removes the home off all rental websites and places a pending approval on Rent Progress website. I am trying to resolve a dispute and wanted an update on my deposit. A representative who took my call was so rude and a quote... "your asking the same question over and over again. I don't need to repeat myself. So is there anything you need?" .. I dont know what their policy is on customer service but if I were to talk like that to a customer I would have gotten fired. Yet I still bothered to ask if she was ok or if she was having a bad day but her respos was cold and rude. I hope nobody experiences the same thing I did.
This company is a FRAUD! On the 24th of May 2019 I called Progress Residential and spoke with the Leasing Agent Barbie who informed me that the house we were interested in at **** **** **** ************would be available on July 12,2019 and given all the information on how to apply for the house. Renting a house from Progress Residential for 6 years with our 12 year old border collie. They initially required a pet deposit which we happy paid. Now at our year 7 renewal they are demanding a $35.00 pet rent per month. We are now having to move out of our home after 6 year due to the increase for our family pet. This rental company is a JOKE!!! We moved into our home in Newnan, GA in 2019. We have had nothing but issues since then. We put in 4 service tickets within the first month of being there.
