Progress Rrsidential explicitly advertised a certain property in MLS AS “ totally fenced backyard, when in fact 2 out of 3 sides were the neighbors fences.

Before you rent from this company beware. The company is only in this business to make money. They have extra fees for everything. They even charge you $9.99 a month just to pay your electric bill. I knew they would raise the rent but not as much as they did so now we have wasted all this money moving in our home to only have to move out. They raised our rent $95 a month and every year they are going to raise the rent and not just a little bit. This company does not care about keeping families in their home only making money... read more

Worst experience with a company I’ve ever had. Hidden fees, horrible customer service, extremely unresponsive maintenance and repair- and they charge you for stuff that should be their responsibility.

This company will try to steal your security deposit. I've never had a single dollar kept from a security deposit. Progress Residential tried to keep $300 for professional carpet cleaning. Sorry, Progress, that's illegal under the law. That is considered landlord expenses. Suing them in small claims court for the maximum allowed is the only way to get your money back. I want to inform other prospective tenants to hold Progress Residential to the lease amount listed on their web site. When I began looking into rental properties in Indianapolis, IN. I found the home I wanted to rent under a PMI leasing agency. The home was listed for $1500.00 a month. When I went to sign the lease agreement, I was told the property was now being managed by Progress Residential and the cost of the lease was increased to $1,695.00, a month. NO stars!!! I had looked at multiple places and was very specific on the timeline for my move date, I was hurried into filling out an application and deposit and did a video walkthrough of the rental which showed a list of areas in need of repair. I communicated the repairs needed prior to moving in and instead of fixing the problems I received a harassing phone call telling me that no repairs would be fixed and that the rentals are "as is". Our worst rental experience ever. They are rude, incompetent and we believe, unscrupulous!!! They post your rent amount on the website the first of each month and it must be paid by the 3rd. There is no grace period!! They do everything to prevent you paying your monthly lease payment on time so that you incur late fees, attorney fees and taxes. Henceforth, unscrupulous!! Read the lease AND DO NOT SIGN!!!!! You will regret it.

Negative stars! I am so tired of this company. You might as well go buy a house since they are constantly LYING and dodging their responsibilities- leaving it to you and your expenses. The service “manager” is an overpaid idiot who CREATES problems them drags his feet fixing them. He is RUDE, disrespectful, incompetent, and extremely arrogant despite it all! I moved out of a property located at 3464 chandler cove way in Antioch TN on November 7, 2017 after two years of residency. I must say that I have never been charged more than my deposit after vacating a leased home. Not only did they take my entire deposit of $1676 but charged me an access of $300. For a house that was left in very good condition.
