Power It definitely simple to use but it bugged me a little when in the picture of the product it comes with more then just the label maker, it didn’t come with a power cord, but I had batteries on hand so I used those for now, one sample or white label and it was like maybe 3 words and was out. Kinda bothered by the false advertising.
Impossible to Read I finally, reluctantly, replace my P-Touch--which still worked great--but I could no longer get the labels for it in the color I wanted. I bought this brother machine and was shocked how light the text is on the display. At first I thought it hadn't turned on, but on close examination I could barely see the text. I tried an adapter. I tried new batteries. No improvement. I haven't seen others complain about this but no matter how I angle the unit, it is almost impossible to make out the text on the display... read more
Only had 1 problem I bought this over a year ago and only use it occasionally. By the time I used up the 1st roll of print tape the cutter started to not work. Not too big an issue, just waste some tape having to use sissors.
POS -don’t buy! POS can’t use it because it doesn’t work on batteries. I’ve changed batteries 3 times. No way of contacting Amazon regarding this purchase. Waste of money, time, and discouraged.
DOES NOT COME WITH CARRYING CASE OR EXTRA LABLES I ordered the label maker works fin to much space that is empty when prints and did not come with case or extra tables like promised>:(
Nice if you have a lot of time to learn how to use it. Experience with older models is of little value. took months before I could get enough use out of it. Almost tossed it two or three times. Cartridges are expensive. Not a pleasant experience.
Fragile and can jam Broken. This ptouch has been barely used - still in our first cassette and it is already broken. The rollers no longer apply enough pressure to feed the tape forward resulting in clumped tape. When I put in a new cassette I immediately had the same problem.
Works fine, limited selection, designed to waste money. The overall design and label options selection is exactly the same as it was 20 years ago, they have done NOTHING to improve the capabilities or user experience. This is the SAME machine they were selling in the early 2000's. Furthermore, they are designed (as they always have been) so that they waste labels every time you print. You can change the setting but when you clear the screen for a new label it will be reset to the wasteful setting. It's obviously like this so... read more
Totally not customer focused Really? You should be a product that requires six batteries and you don't include one? Six one and a half volt batteries equals 1 x 9 volt battery. Horrible design.
