The rates are higher than what you think I had applied for this loan and soon backed out since the rates advertised on the site,is not what you would be asked to apply for, the rates will be slightly lower than your present interest rates and the period of loan payment will be extended, In effect you would paying for more.
HORRIBLE!!!!. All of the reviews must be from the company itself!! They denied my refinance loan and I have good credit!! Don't waste your time!! Customer service is also a joke!!
Car refi I originally gave RateGenuis a very positive and high-rating for their efficiency and professionalism (reviewed posted on 10/20/16 reference focal Rick Reyes). However, they managed to mis-enter information (1. Incorrect pay-off amount 2. incorrect entry for auto-debt) on the loan documentation. The first mis-entry, I was informed of a stop-payment on the check that was issued which was fine as it was well before my monthly payment due date. I can't get my gap insurance back.. If you get get gap insurance Rate Genius won't refundyour money if you pay off the loan.
deceiving I was lied to, I thought I was getting a better deal than what I had, at a lower rate, yes my payment went down a mere $33.00, with more months to pay and the same rate that I had with my previous bank, which lowering the APR was the hole point of hole thing, I ended up with the same APR and a drop on my credit score of 50 points that if I would had known that I would had never gone through the hole thing, by the way thank to credit karma for such a bad referral.
Better rate than I had They work to get you the best rate. Don't get your expectations to high.
Don't listen to these people who give 5 I only gave my last 4 digits and my DOB and they figured out my full social somehow. These people who give 5 stars here probably work for Rate Genius.
