Car refinance Very easy to use. I was thought the customer service would be awful due to some of the reviews i had read, but that was not the case. I had a great customer service. I was not harrassed at all. We told them up front that we did not want to have gap ins. and that was fine, you sign a waiver, and you are good.Nothing hidden.
Please read this before applying!. I was very skeptical of this company because I decided to follow the link on CK to go to Lending Tree and see if I pre-qualified for any car refi loans. At the same time, I had also been made aware of checking pre-approval offers on credit card websites and I knew that didn't count as a hard credit check. Horrible I had a letter that I was 'pre-qualified' and then they referred me to Lightstream Oh.. I don't think so. Not at this time!

STAY FAR AWAY from this website! Not only did this website put 5 HARD INQUIRIES on my credit report, they call you several times a day to get you to sign up for a new loan. I was told that I would only receive one hard inquiry if I accepted a loan offer, then I checked my credit after refinancing with a different bank and saw that Rategenius themselves had a hard inquiry in addition to all of the banks they sent my credit to. No approval but nice Eddie tried to work around the DACA situation. Eventually just took Capital One because they were electronic and faster, no phone call required. RateGenius tried to work with a credit union but they required lots of calls, paperwork, and hesistated on the DACA immigration status, so we just went with Capital One.
Liars They told me they could offer me 10% rate & then when it came time to go ahead with the loan they slipped in it was a 13.85 rate. An employee from Rategenius claims he does not remember telling me 10% but that my cars value might have changed it. This was a complete waste of my time. I really recommend considering anyone else first as you could very well waste a few weeks of your life on them and still not get anywhere.
They have hidden fees. They lied to me and now I'm paying for it. My mistake?
These Idiots Will Waste Your Time!!!. I read the bad reviews after I applied but was hoping my experience would be different. They told me the loan was approved and had me fill out all kinds of forms and sign everything, several phone calls and e-mails later after skipping my car payment i get an e-mail that they cant do the loan. If they are Rate Genius it seems they would have an alternate or something else to offer. Dealing with them on the phone is really irritating and they waste your time bullsh*ting you.
