They worked a refi miracle!. When all others said it was impossible to refinance the "upside down" on my vehicle, rateGenious proved them wrong. On top of that, I got an amazingly low interest rate!
What the f? I found a slightly used car that was way below KBB value so I went to the Stealership and finance through them and got a 4.77% APR for a 60 month term. So i took it and planned to refinance after 6 months. I applied through RateGenius and they offered me 3.99% but they wanted me to extend my term to 66 months. I turned them down on the spot. I average 810-812 credit score and expected a much lower rate especially that I even went through my employer's discount program. Waste of my time!
Turned down with 660 I was told I was a good candidate for refinancing. Decent score low income to debt, etc. I get a call after 4 days saying they couldn't find a lender, but they had great news! I was possibly eligible to buy insurance from them......
The RateGenius agent was incompetent The agent that contacted me seemed to just read off a computer with only a basic understanding of loans. He then was unable to actually send me the documents for the loan. He called and texted me many time to get me to sign the documents that he never sent.
Request a refinance for my truck Worst experience ever. I trust the company,because credit karma recommendations. Get a call. Guy run my credit about 4 times. Finally call with offer. I was almost getting the ok, when he just want to sell me an extended warranty on a new car. I advise already been covered by Dodge, but he didn't stop arguing with me. Easy at first In the beginning, very communicative, even by text. Then I was passed onto another person who wanted me to submit documents I had already submitted. She only responded to one email although I sent 4. New loan company has my address wrong and I can't get ahold of anyone to fix it. I did get my rate dropped from nearly 10% to a little over 3% though. Had to do auto pay as well. No say so in the new company.
Advertised to better my 4.96% rate.. Be very careful as this company advertises one thing and then tries to deliver another completely different and higher rate loan
Do not waste your time.. Please do not waste your time filling up 6 page form and then not hearing any update. On contacting customer care, they said that they could not refinance and there is no reason. i already have the auto loan and an amazing credit score of 750+.
Applied and never heard anything.. I applied a while back and never heard a single thing from rateGenius. My credit falls into the excellent range, so I doubt I wouldn't be approved for anything, but even if I was declined the least they could do is email me.
