Be Informed Get ready for multiple credit checks on your credit report. They like to push GAP Insurance, though not necessary. In my case, since I'm self employed, they wanted two years of tax returns and copies of my Profit and Loss Statments. I'm applying for an auto refinance not a home refinance. Refused without a reason It is not fun when refuse you without explanation and customer service representative does not know noting about it. BTW my credit score is little bit over 740.

Swarmy, bait and switch to refinance Read the fine print of their refinance offer. It would cost me thousands to refinance at a lower rate than I pay and my loan would have extended a few more months. Seemed desperate for my business, rep contacted me by texting me and calling too much. I quickly declined to refinance, beware!

Don't waste your time If you already have a loan under 5% and decent credit don't waste your time. The teaser rates on here are a lie. I applied and didn't hear anything for a few days. They came back with a higher rate and longer term than I already have. I am at 4.89 for 60 months and they came back at 4.99 for 66 months. No where near what they show for my credit score on credit karma. They add on gap and ding your credit multiple times. Crappy website and poor communication.

Not good While your service found me a halfway decent loan, the representative who helped me did not deliver on his promise. He told me about a 3 year warranty. I asked for it. I jumped through way more hoops than I ever should have, only to have him tell me at the end of the process that he goofed and that he didn't submit my request to add the warranty until it was too late. Instead he and others at your service were too busy hounding me for documents I submitted on day one. Such as pay stubs and copies of my driver's lice... read more

Very Easy Was originally approved by Capital One via the web to refi my loan at a lower rate but then they rescinded because I was already a customer. I asked if they would rather lower my rate or lose me as a customer. They chose to lose me as a customer and rategenius found me an even better rate for the remainder of my existing loan. I am saving almost $105 a month.

RateGenius found a way better deal for my auto loan. I refinanced through them and dropped my intrest rate by 6% and lowered my monthly payment by $50.

Saved thousands in interest charges CSR was quite helpful and available, but customer service fell off after I submitted my documentaion. I had to call to find out when the payoff was sent to my old lender. I never got an email from Rate Genius. Their service was great during the sales cycle, needs improvement in the follow-up.
