The clam chowder was superb. The lobster cobb was disappointing - very little lobster and expensive.
Over all experience was fine, but the waiters were not very attentive. I don't want someone hovering over me, but they never even checked back to see if you needed anything, wether it be fresh pepper or a drink. I also felt the food wasnt up to par from the last times I have been there. Food used to be excellent, but I think it went down a tad.
This place couldn't have been more average. Great location, average at everything else. They should change the name of the place to "Average Grill." Wouldn't eat here again unless it was free.
Shrimp Tempura Roll very tasty but portion too small.
Nothing special, a little bit on the expensive side. Many better choices in the area.
Very convenient to Carnegie Hall and the theaters in the west 50's. Quick, attentive service - a little too quick, in fact. We told our server that we had a show to see at 8. Our reservation was for 6:15 and we were served our salads and main course before we had even finished our cocktails. No pre-theater menu, which was a bit disappointing and which made the meal a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area.
The rolls are incredibly hard. I recommend passing when they bring it to you.
Food and service was good but WAY, WAY overpriced. Also, tables entirely too close to eachother. I felt like I was dining with strangers sitting at my table and listening to my conversation!
Mediocre, over-priced, unmemorable food. Waiter uniformed. No maliciousness here, just mediocrity. WAYYYYY OVERPRICED for quality of food.
