I've been to Redeye Grill before & loved it so I was so disappointed by this visit. The waiter took awhile to take our order & when he did we learned they were out of one item we ordered & got rid of the brunch bread basket. Then making the visit bizarre was that my mom ordered a "corn, cucumber and tomato salad". Strangely though they gave her a bed of greens w/ no corn, no cucumber & no tomato. Very disappointed that this once great seafood restaurant turned into a steak place. We frequented it before Carnegie concerts, and we Wont be going back.

I've been going to Redeye Grill for many years and always loved it for its consistency...well not this time...we were seated outside and the service was short of poor! We waited for a waiter to come for a long time to even take a drink order...the same happen when we asked for our check...The worse was when the salad came, I asked them to split it for me and put half in a to-to container cauz it was so much food, and I've learned to do this from weight watchers...well the guy didnt' really want to do it and finally did it bu... read more

I have eaten here many times before this special luncheon with visiting family from abroad, but was disappointed from the get go this time around. I met my party outside and all walked in together for a 1:30pm lunch. It was not overly crowded and our table was not ready. Ok..we wait 10 minutes while it is prepared. Poor to non existent service prevailed and our experience only saved by not having seen my relatives in awhile. This once very good restaurant has gone significantly downhill, while the already high prices continue to climb. The food was tasteless, paricularly the sushi appetizers. It appeared understaffed. After ordering coffee, out waitress completely disapperared for close to 20 minutes. Bus staff seemed completely untrained, reaching over us to clear the table and generally cluless. Too bad, used to be reliable for a biz lunch.

They used to have great raw bar and sushi. They have scaled it back and quite honestly the food was not as good. I would not recommend it.

Just not as pleased as I once was with this place. My baked potatoe was hard, the bartender wasn't hitting the mark. My caesar salad didn't have enough punch! And the serving sizes for a delicous, very expensive halibut, just didn't make me scream, I'm returning.
