When your product is good, you don't need to rope people in Pros: RingCentral sales people promise functionality that doesn't exist. Cons: The workflow didn't work as promised. I asked the sales person to confirm they could do a particular flow and he promised me he could. As soon as implementation started, sales person disappeared. Product doesn't work and they hold you hostage to your contract Pros: It was easy to install the out of the box phone system. Which isn't an MVP product for anyone. It's nuts and bolts without the bolts. Cons: Entire companies lack of transparency, ability to hold meetings, and overall professionalism. Overall: It literally didn't work. Changed end date on contract, wouldn't let me cancel Pros: Incoming and outgoing calls worked pretty well. Cons: SErvice tiers were priced too aggressively. Overall: My big beef is that they increased my term without my agreement and wouldn't give proof.
Worst Customer Service ever Pros: Didn't even have a chance to use it because these people dropped the ball 5 times. Yes, 5 chances we gave them. Not the easiest to use Pros: It does a good job replacing standard office phones. Cons: The video conference application is frustrating and can be tough to use. Overall: If the goal is to replace your standard office phones then RingCentral can do that, but it just isn't that practical if you then have to use another video conference and chat software.
RingCentral Review Pros: When using RingCentral it was easy to use and navigate. It did not make the user answer, it automatically answered for them. Cons: It kept dropping the calls that were coming in. Sometimes we could not hear the cust. We had to log out and in a lot, to stop the tech issues. Overall: My experience with RingCentral was frustrating. Could not reach quota with the calls that were dropped and not being able to hear. We only used it briefly. Too many tech issues.
Worst VOIP Provider Pros: Absolutely Nothing it is by far the most disapointing VOIP provider Cons: Impossible to install which they expect you to do by yourself. The sales dept made 3 appointments and no showed all 3 times. My inside support person is a a grouchy B---OTCH who wants to argue with me and tells me I am the only one every that has been unhappy. Not happy with RC. Pros: We used RingCentral for a few years and we were constantly experiencing issues. I suppose I liked that we were able to change our incoming ringtones. Cons: We really were unhappy with the RC support team. We were constantly reaching out and they always were letting us know that they were "escalating this to the next tier of support..."
