The service advisors felt like they were salesman trying to upsell me. Felt so scammy. My vehicle is brand new and I had a rock in my brakes which was making the worst screeching noise. But it was “mandatory” that I paid for a multi-point inspection. Why they couldn’t just check the brake and remove the rock was beyond me. A multipoint inspection was so unnecessary and I was extremely frustrated

Sorry Nicolle, we tried calling you to better explain. But by doing it this way for $50 you only pay 1/3 of the price as opposed to having to charge for a full diagnostic.
Car washing wasn’t available High labor charges
It took almost 2 hours for a simple oil change. A lube shop is half the price and done in 20 minutes.
I was told it would take 30 mins and I waited over an hour
Initially OK but went downhill quickly. Pressure to make a decision without proper consideration. Lowballed my trade in value, then insisted it had to include GST so the value went down by $1500. Kept me waiting at various times, to the point I was getting up to leave. Then they magically appeared. Bought the car, took it home and tried to register, agent says it can't be registered because the dealer forgot to do something. I went in for a normal oil change. Upon arrival I showed the service lady my gift certificate for a free oil change i received back in June. Unfortunately when I had received the gift certificate I had just got my oil change done I contacted river city service department where I was told I could still use it after the expiry date. By far the worse dealer. The sale manager Ryan is a scam artist. We were looking for new or used cars under $40000. Saw one that about $42000+fees+tax came to be $46700. I told sale rep talk to manager all in $44000 we can make a deal. After talking to idiot manager Ryan he came back with payment plan if $5000 down payment with $300 by weekly for 84 months This is before we do any credit check. I came in for a car inspection which I was told was going to be 40mins. I ended up spending 3 hours there and when the lady helping me gave me back my key, she told me she’s just waiting for quotes. 30 minutes later, still no quote. When I tried to looked for her to ask if the quote had been done, she was nowhere to be found. When I did find her, she was with another customer (who, btw, got serviced right away). This time I went to change my tire and Rep told me my car needs Alignment so I said I just did it last time then she said that mechanic made a mistake and you Alignment is good . They just want to charge you regardless .
