I made an appointment a week ahead, dropped my car off the evening before so it was ready for a 7:30 appointment. I specifically asked to be phoned when the car was in the shop. Never heard a thing. I phoned at around 10 snd confirmed what work I wanted done, phoned again at 12 and 2:30 and got the impression the car hadn’t even been looked at. By far the worst and most dishonest factory dealership in Edmonton. Operating at Alberta av used dealership tricks. Made me despise Hyundai brand because of them

(1) I have been a loyal customer of River City Hyundai since 2019 when I purchased my car. I have exclusively relied on their services to avoid any warranty-related issues, as advised by the River City staff themselves. In addition to my initial purchase, I also acquired their extended warranty for my vehicle. It sucked. Came in for a recall that took 10 minutes and then an hour later had to ask where was my car, to find out it was low on oil when they did their check. I was not advised or asked how I would like to proceed! Received a text saying they were sorry I missed my appointment????? Won’t be going back.

I went to rivercity hyudai I accepted sevice 1 which was include car wash , car tire air pressure check up , vaccum mats , inspect and lubricate latches - hinges- locks , fluids top up But i just got only oil change nothing else. They should had do whatever they are showing in service chart 1 ... Unsetisfied 👎

Hi guys When I went to river city hyundai for transmission service it's 100040 km only 40 km above from warranty. After they change transmission oil my car gear start slippery. Then they told me to come to visit I went there back 110000km they didn't found any code and they sent me home. Then again I went there 126000km they said they feel hard shifting but no code they sent me home . Then I went to hyundai 137000km they found transmission code and they said they have to replace the transmission. But now they are saying it's... read more

The service advisors felt like they were salesman trying to upsell me. Felt so scammy. My vehicle is brand new and I had a rock in my brakes which was making the worst screeching noise. But it was “mandatory” that I paid for a multi-point inspection. Why they couldn’t just check the brake and remove the rock was beyond me. A multipoint inspection was so unnecessary and I was extremely frustrated

Sorry Nicolle, we tried calling you to better explain. But by doing it this way for $50 you only pay 1/3 of the price as opposed to having to charge for a full diagnostic.

It took almost 2 hours for a simple oil change. A lube shop is half the price and done in 20 minutes.
