Dr. Vega is honest and tells it like it is. She will give it to you straight and not sugar coat anything. She keeps her appointments on task and does not waste any time. She always remembers you and knows your situation ahead of time to come up with a plan to best help you. TA's here are the bomb! They will help you out no matter what they got going on. Jason is the best Ive ever seen. He is so customer service oriented it's ridiculous. He is super knowledgeable its like the dude knows everything and can always help you with something. I love his sense of humor, he never fails to deliver a joke or say hello across campus, it really makes you feel like a second family here once you get used to it. Its tough at first but great staff like Jason make it feel like home.

Isabel in house keeping is an absolute gem. She is a pro! She makes sure everything is clean and even makes my bed when I need it done. Its great because they do your laundry here and provide house keeping every day. The rooms are nice because they are hotel style and the beds are huge and very comfortable. The showers are walk in and the campus is nice. Its very large and they have a nature path that you can walk with a fountain that I like to go and meditate by. Overall this has been a great experience.

Love the kitchen staff. Elanna is a sweet heart. She has great customer service and a great attitude. She is always very friendly toward mea nd makes me feel welcome. I love that she is so friendly and never has an attitude. She is just very professional and keeps her cool at all times, even in difficult situations when people complain, she handles herself respectfully.

Maurice and the whole lab team are the best. He is so awesome because of his willingness to help and his extremely positive attitude his energy is just contagious and he makes everyone laugh. Its always a pleasure to see him and if I ever need a ride he is right there ready to take me across the campus so I dont have to walk. They have a huge campus here and its really beautiful but can be difficult to walk sometimes. I can always see Maurice working hard and it inspires me just to be around him

Dr. Fahs has been an exceptional provider throughout my stay here at River Oaks. That man truly cares about his patients. He is very calm and always helpful by being informative about what my options are, helping me understand my medical history and how the using and drinking have affected me and my body .He is very timely, always available for his appointments, and follows up with me about any tests or medications I may be trying to make sure everything is as it should be. Case managers help you get all your stuff in order. They will help with finding sober living and scheduling primary care appointments for when you leave. They also helped me get my after care and IOP options situated so I will be doing classes after leaving here. Anything I needed from my FMLA paperwork to working out my transportation home and all my discharge stuff, they were there for me. I love the Veterans Program at River Oaks, they have specialized classes for vets with people who have similar experiences as me. Therapist Brian facilitates the the veterans groups and openly shares his experiences. He is very direct and consistent which I truly need right now. I love that he has a good sense of humor and is very knowledgeable when it comes to matter of addiction and the disease of addiction plus how it effects people like me who have been in active duty. Everyone here, the whole team and even the clients have been very helpful. Jennifer the TA is new, she just came on recently, but she is always very friendly and positive. It makes a huge difference to have staff and people here to make you feel uplifted when going through such a difficult time. She is also very reasonable and attentive. She pays attention to anticipate needs ahead of time and makes sure to follow up. She really goes above and beyond.
