I love all the activities that are available during the off times outside of classes. They regularly have speakers and there is an activity for every night of the week. Lots of times the staff even gets involved like Tarshay the tech she will always show up to karaoke night and sing along with us or hype up the crowd. We recently had a hurricane and for those of us that stayed, the staff was completely professional and prepared. Josh the maintenance director was incredible. He prepared everyone and made something that could have been chaotic and scary into a smooth and reassuring process. I have never seen anything like it before. He got everyone into their new rooms easily and calmed everyone with a thorough explanation of the plan while addressing everyone's concerns. Karah is an awesome therapist and teacher! Her groups are the best. She lets us express ourselves and she is amazing at DBT. I have learned so many new tools and skills like how to be mindful when I have cravings or tough emotions pop up instead of letting them take over. its going to help me tremendously when I go home and being able to talk openly about the way Im feeling or some of the things that have happened to me and have some one to listen an understand has been tremendous. The nurses and medical team have been very helpful trying to get used to the program. Nurse Risha works in the pharmacy and she is amazing. She was here the whole time through the big storm we just had and she never even left once to make sure every one had their medication and everything they needed during the hurricane. She has an open door policy and makes sure to get your meds when you need them. She will drive to different pharmacies to pick them us within the next day and will always search for better deals for your co... read more
Some of the best groups Ive ever been to are right here. The therapists are very motivational and many are in recovery themselves, sharing stories and helping me with coping skills. Therapist Edelyn is great because she is very straight forward but caring. She makes sure to keep her groups on track and even has a great sense of humor. The case management services have been beyond my expectations because my case manager Veronica is probably the most thorough case worker Ive ever had. She started planning with me as soon as I got here and helped me find a sober living, after care IOP, and a doctor for when I graduate. It helped relieve so much stress off my shoulders not knowing where I was going or what I was going to do when I left. Now I feel more secure and supported because I have a transition plan. This program has saved my life. The staff and clients have all made sure to build a great community that allows people like myself to thrive. Eldred the tech knows exactly how to break up conflicts. He is always front and center with a resolution to any issue we may have. Not only is he polite but he is calm and centered while going above and beyond in all areas. I truly appreciate the level of professionalism here from the staff, therapists, and case manager through out this entire process. Highly recommend.
Great customer service by all involved. Since I have been in this program I have seen each and every staff member go above and beyond. Tarshae is impeccable with her words and customer service. She maintains high program standards and encourages me to do better. I appreciate her approach in that it is no nonsense but also very compassionate. She is a role model for every one here and deserves to be commended.
Everyone has been so sweet and helpful. TA Rachel makes sure we have lots of fun. She even saved a baby turtle we found walking into the front door. It was so tiny and helpless but she made sure to take it home with her to take care of it and even brought it back in a little aquarium with foliage to visit with us so we could see it grew and made it to a safe home.
