The therapists are very intelligent and lead groups really well. Christina the facilitator has great topics and information that I always take some thing good out of her groups. She did a lot on grief and loss and taught us coping skills about almost every trigger you can think of. She keeps us well informed on knowing your triggers and how to deal with them. There is a staff member in the kitchen that has been here forever and she is an absolute pleasure. Miss Angie is a care taker for her parents but she still takes her time to come in and not just work in the kitchen, she takes her time to talk with each and every one of us to get familiar with what we have going on in our lives ,even though she is in pain. She is the best kitchen server I know!
Therapists are great. Edelyn is very kind and always makes a b line toward me to check in on me when she sees me. She does amazing groups and clearly puts a lot of extra prep work into her lesson plans to help us fight the disease of addiction. Its not just dictation or its not just paperwork with her, its all of the above which I appreciate
Dr. Vega is a very good listener and checked in with me about my father when he passed away even though she has a hundred things going on at once, she always makes me feel important and like my needs are being heard. Even when she has 3 phones going off at the same time, she made sure I was taken care of and in a timely manner. The medical team is extremely professional.
TA Jennifer is new and already making an impact. its impressive that she seems like she has been here for a while and work what's going on and is so good at her job with only being here a few weeks. She is very personable, she goes out of her way to help, and has great customer service. Thank you for making my experience a good one.
Dr. Murphy the medical director is very knowledgeable and well informed. I like meeting with him because he is very personable and helps me understand the process as well as my options medication wise. If I need him, he's available. I feel more comfortable because he is educated on the disease of addiction and how to best help me with my tapers and mood stabilizers. Its important to me to find the right medication to help. Isabel the house keeper is one of the best house keepers Ive ever seen. The whole staff here is great from the maintenance to the housekeeping. They always get things done and keep the rooms extra clean. If I need towels or soap or if I need my bed sheets changed, all I have to do is ask and they make sure I get whatever I need. They also do you laundry here. Im happy I don’t have to go without anymore so I can focus on being here and why I came. The beds are big and the rooms are nice almost like hotel style which is cool.
The groups here have a lot of creative topics. I enjoy the guided activities and not just when they only lecture. The facilitators are caring and open minded. They discuss things with us and let us decide what’s important to talk about during process groups. They have lots of activities like Dharma meditation in the evenings along with AA and NA meetings. The staff here is awesome they are so involved and very welcoming. As soon as I got here I felt comfortable talking with them and asking questions. Geneen had an answer for me and helped me with anything I needed. She says good morning and greets me every day. She will even make sure I have a ride on the golf cart because it’s a really big campus and its hard for me to walk back and forth to class sometimes.
