Im going back to Tennessee, Ive been in several programs and before I came, I lost my house and everything I owned. While I was here I learned that I need to let go of my trauma and not dwell on the past because it keeps me sick. While Ive been here I have learned that life is more than just using and its more like a spiritual awakening. Ive been able to see things that Ive never seen before. Veronica my case worker dealt with my sober living list to help guide me in the right direction on where to go when I discharge. She helped me get my settlement agreement signed so I can be prepared for when I go. Lauren is awesome, she let me cry on her shoulder so to speak and helped me through a lot of the drama that Im experiencing. Everyone has been very helpful, other wise I wouldn't have come back for my second time. Demetrius and Tony their groups are captivating. They are kind of long at times but you get so much out of it and its definitely inspirational. I learned that as long as Im still breathing, there is still hope and chance for me to change my life. Olivia my therapist has been very nice, she gave me a lot of information and let me know anything I need I can always come talk to her. The ta Iyesha she showed me around and offered me things that I needed, when I came in late she made sure I had food and checked on me throughout the night to make sure I felt comfortable. Nurse Jennifer was like an open book and made me feel so welcome.

When I packed and decided I was going I was in such a hurry and this is my first time in treatment. My therapist Karah is awesome, the therapy is great. She helped me get an admissions bag which helped me to carry my stuff to class. I haven't missed a class yet. All my classes were really powerful, we learned about the cycle of pain, therapist Edelyn was amazing. She showed us a diagram and gave us tools about our breaking points. Dr. Sina sits and listens to his patients and helped me step by step. he gave me the best knowledge and carte that I needed. I had a problem with my medication and he changed it. He let me know about a couple different good alternatives. He also a professor at USF and helps other addiction doctors get their certifications. I recommend him for any drug treatment program.

All the staff has been good. Tarshay was right there if I needed something. When I just got here I didnt have any cigarettes and I didnt know anything about what to do. I was so nervous and scared because I never been to a place like this before. She helped me get my cigarettes and made me feel welcome. She took her time to explain everything to me and showed me where to go. The nurses and the whole team here are on point. Nurse Vontricia is so consistent, I always know what Im going to get during med pass. She never has long lines and makes sure everything is prepped and ready to go in advance. I think they are very good at their jobs here and should be commended. The nurses are so warm and personable while doing their jobs and its so important that they have compassion when doing vitals because people get here and they are still detoxing and going through a rough time.

The family program has been so detrimental to me rebuilding my relationship with my family while I'm here stuck in treatment. He has been extremely good at mitigating and mediating tough conversations between me and my loved ones. He has this warmth and compassion about him that just made me feel instantly comfortable and I knew I could trust him.
