When I first got here, I wanted to leave after 7 days because I was scared and didn't know how I was going to stay sober, but after meeting the community, I wanted to stay because everyone here is so welcoming, no one judges you and I felt very comfortable. I met so many wonderful people and it was nice to be in a bubble where there was no temptation to drink. Now I feel like I wish I could stay longer! Definitely Ty my therapist was great. My daughters drove all the way from Nashville to pick me up unbeknownst to me. They kind of did an intervention which was well needed. They did all the research and picked this place out. All of the providers Dr. Barbara, Amisha, and my case manager Veronica, as well as my therapist Andrea were WONDERFUL. She contacted my daughters to let them know I was ok and how I was doing. My therapist Karah was amazing. She was very supportive but also motivated me which is a good balance for me because I've had a lot of enablers in my life. Our sessions always felt very natural, she always respected me if I didn't want to talk about things. TA Keita always made me feel like she was there for me by going out of her way to help me with little things. Great staff members. My therapist Ty was awesome. The groups were great and Demetrius gets everybody involved. There's a nature trail that I enjoyed walking. I have no complaints. I came back here for a second time so if that says anything, I would come back again if I needed to and would definitely recommend.
My therapist Ali was one of the best therapists. She was so helpful with everything, listening and understanding. I was able to challenge her to challenge me. I adapt and overcome very easily and she opened me up to taking things slower and becoming more verbal. When I finished detox I thought I was ready to leave, but she talked to me about the importance of staying in treatment. Demitrius and my therapist Brian really helped me by being very motivational and understanding. Brian was able to help me open up and connect with me about being a veteran. I attended Veterans groups and they had great conversations to help you work through your process in an open forum. I loved playing volleyball and basketball, that was a lot of fun. Jennifer Contay my case manager did a wonderful job helping me find a sober living that accepted me on a taper to help set me up for success. She made time for me even when she didn't have it. She did a really good job and she deserves a super recommendation.
TA Randy has been a huge help with a lot of support. I appreciate him very much. On the nursing staff, Glenn and Rebecca were very helpful, if there was a problem they fixed it. The groups were great. HUGE recommendation for Demetrius and Tony, they are on another level. The speaker meetings were great, having outside people come in was amazing. The facility was comfortable. Mr. Demitrius helped me a lot. Therapist Tony was real inspirational. Ms. Christina was wonderful she was very forthcoming, she shared and helped me talk about my family. Mr. Travis was a great facilitator of groups, he really helped me to open up. Mattie the Care Coordinator was helpful in getting me started here. Housekeeping was outstanding. At first the food wasn't as good as it could have been but after a while they made some great changes and put in a deli menu that gave us good options to eat. The nurses have been fan... read more
