The staff was A plus. Everybody there is actually very kind, they want to help and they really care. Very compassionate. River Oaks is super organized, when I ask for something it gets done right away. The staff communicates well. But the nursing stations are very unorganized. There can be improvement there. The nurses get over whelmed. Therapists are very good. Most of the groups are very useful, others are generic. They bring outside speakers for AA which was great. Providers are amazing, Dr. Sina and Dr. Fahs, they care a... read more

The whole staff was great. I commend them for what they do and all their hard work. Everyone made me feel very comfortable. I had great room mates. The clients were very welcoming. If I needed anything I got it. We love the housekeepers, especially Isabel. If I could sender money I would! I had two buddies when I first got here, between them I felt very welcome. Participation in group was good. I tried to gather as much information and tools as I could so I can use them when I go home. This really brought me down to earth wi... read more

My therapist James was very good. The groups were very helpful to me. I was here before and decided to come back again because I needed a tune up. I was having fleeting thoughts and felt like I needed more time and support to remain sober. So I came back and here I am. Nurse Glenn was excellent. Every time he came in, the process got sped up. He was on the mark with everything. He knew what everybody needed and had it ready for them. Its a very nice facility, some of the things need refurbishing which they are working on. I ... read more

Jennifer the case manager went above and beyond making arrangements for me. I had a really difficult situation with being handicapped. People really helped me a lot by holding doors and accommodating me. Its a very large campus and I have mobility issues so they helped me to rent an electric scooter to get around which really saved me. You do a lot of walking here. Tony and James the therapists did an outstanding job with the groups. Each person had a different style. I liked the people who are in recovery that run the group... read more

My therapist Christina helped me when I was really going through it. The head nurse Christina was very helpful during medication times which can get hectic. The groups were nice. They were very insightful, encouraging, and supportive. They provided a place that made you feel you had a safe space to share if you needed to. They had a lot of community events. I did the Phoenix crossfit classes and I would go out for volleyball every afternoon. Stuff like art night and bingo night, those kind of things were really important me.... read more

James my therapist was great. He takes his time with me and he's thorough and makes sure I understand. He's always really encouraging. The groups were really informative. They gave me a lot to think about and work on even when I'm not in the group. The dorms are really nice, there's a lot of land here and its really pretty. I played volleyball a couple times while I was here which was fun. I learned a lot about boundaries, that was biggest thing I learned here. Also about people, places, and things. I would for sure recommen... read more

I'm going to sober living back home when I leave here. My therapist Trina was amazing. We would always take time together to talk casually at the start of each session which made me feel more comfortable since it can be hard to talk about trauma, but I felt very comfortable with her right off the bat. My case manager Stephen helped me get lots of resources together. The outreach coordinator Chris Ferrente was absolutely amazing. He did so much work to get me here and it was truly an answer to my prayers. He was incredible. H... read more

I feel like a new person, I really turned a corner here. I have my support system and lots a healthy people in my sober network. I've got my sponsor and meetings lined up. I have my energy back & I feel confident about going home. Nurse Risha had very kind and encouraging words to share with me when I was in my first few days here and that made such a difference. Overall the staff here was kind and supportive. I was surprised that everyone knew my name. I enjoyed the groups very much over all, I enjoyed the ones where we int... read more
